We stayed in the hotel where the restaurant is situated and decided to have a meal in the restaurant on our last night. REALLY glad we did!! The service was excellent and the food was better!! My friend and I were guinea pigs with a new way of cooking steak at our table. We ordered a 1kg T-bone steak and were given a small stone plate with a flame underneath to place your pieces of steak on. The steak was fantastic!!!! All the food served this evening was out of this world. I even had time to pop out and take some awesome photos of the sunset over Ronda. Stay here and eat here, it's a must!!!

Thank Dez B

...honestly, it really was the best steak we have ever eaten, and we've had a fair few. Fillet mignon with foie. How the chef got such flavour out of a piece of meat I will never know but it was amazing to eat. I was torn between taking mouthful after mouthful and taking my time as I didn't want it to end! This was the third time we'd eaten here during out stay at Hotel Reina Victoria. Our meal on the first night was very good. We ate here agin on Thursday in the barbecue area with live flamenco music which was excellent. But tonight's topped them all. We shared a plate of seafood to start with then both had the steak, medium rare. It was cooked to perfection. I had the cheesecake dessert, which was the second time I'd had it, it was so good. My husband had the brioche twice as well. The food and staff at Azahar are excellent. We also enjoyed some excellent local wines on each occasion. Tomorrow we'll be in town to find some to take home with us.
Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the view! Spectacular.

This is the restaurant of Hotel Reina Victoria and is peaceful, with very well prepared food and with an excellent and helpful head waiter, Antonio. It suited our needs perfectly. Although dark when we ate, the views would be superb in daylight.

Wow if you want a fabulous dining experience with outstanding views this is hard to beat
My Wife and I had lunch here on Monday 2nd December make sure you have a good walk around enjoying the breathtaking views before dining as you will need a good appetite !
We opted for a Weekly Menu available lunch or dinner @ 18 euro per person with plenty of choice I opted for soft noodles in a cream sauce with sauted mushrooms serano ham and parmessan shavings super but I coudn't manage all the noodles as we were presented with an appetiser on the house an Iberian Pate on toast my wife had monkfish with prawns and clams in a tomato sauce I had a Sirloin steak with all the trimmings for dessert I opted for home made cheesecake & ice cream sensational !! we were attended to by Joe Anton ( I think that was the name on the badge ) and his service was 5 star also all in all a fabulous dining experience onl 45 mins North of Marbella
