“Wonderful stay, spectacular suite”
Reviewed 9 June 2012

There are many reviews saying that this hotel is difficult to find but we found the directions spot on; turn left 50m after the 0km to Ronda sign. It is a bit out of the way but if you don't need to stay in Ronda itself and want something really special or 'away from it all', this hotel is ideal.
We had booked a Junior Suite for a milestone celebration but on arrival, were upgraded to their Suite. All I can say is that it is amazing and made our stay very special. The bedroom with 4-poster bed is very comfortable, there is then a first floor level with comfy sofa, ideal for relaxing, reading, etc and the piece de resistance, a roof terrace with spectacular panoramic views over the local countryside, perfect for sundowners and just relaxing and having a wonderful time. If you are considering spending that little bit extra, do it, it was unforgettable!
The staff were very nice and welcoming and there is an honesty bar and free wi-fi in the lounge. We ate dinner in the garden and it was excellent and also very special, great food with attentive service.
Little things I found lacking were a fridge in the suite and amenities in the bathroom, there were only soap, shampoo and bath/shower gel but this did not detract from a truly wonderful stay.

It is hard to find and very far from anywhere. But if you get there, the place is nice and sorroundings very beautifull. But need to drive most of the time because there is nothing around, just a small swimming pool. Services were not great except incredible food.

Arriving at the hotel is not difficult if you follow the instructions provided by the hotel, but you can’t follow a GPS. When you do arrive you find a cortijo converted into a hotel surrounded by an olive grove. The setting of the hotel is pretty and tranquil. I asked for a double room with an additional bed for me and my two kids, but they kindly gave me a junior suite for the same price. I would have been reluctant to pay the full price (250) for the room: the carpet was stained, there were humidity stains on the walls in the bathroom and I didn’t like the lighting, especially for reading. One member of staff scolded me when I came down for breakfast just before eleven (when they close), but otherwise the service was excellent. The restaurant is nothing special, but provides good homemade meals. I would definitely stay here again.

This "rural 4 star hotel" as it calls itself is a little paradise just next to Ronda ! The staff is just perfect to welcome you and to give you all the tips to visit Ronda without facing all the tourists. We were in honeymoon and were given the suite n°9.... Gorgeous ! Just in front of the gardens, we had the feeling to be invited in the guest's own apartments... The restaurant is delicious, and the garden just a dream, we even delayed our leaving just to stay one more hour sitting in it !
We highly recommand this place !!!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway (away from the busy cities of Granada and Ronda) and found just what we were looking for at Hotel Molino del Arco. The room was nice and very clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The best part of the stay was the quiet, beautiful setting. The gardens, though not in bloom this time of year, were still beautiful and peaceful. I definitely recommend!

Room Tip: The Junior Suite was nice with a pretty view from the balcony.

My husband and I stayed here in October and had the most wonderful time. The setting was beautiful and peaceful, the room was charming, and the inn-keeper was as pleasant and as helpful as they come. It's a little farther out of town, but completely worth it. If you're staying overnight in Ronda, stay here!
