“Not Bad for a two-star Hotel”
Reviewed 14 January 2012

We stayed at the San Francisco Hotel for one night. I was driving from Cordoba and my wife wanted to stay the night at Ronda and pick up on some shopping and sight seeing. We were not dissapionted with the accomodations. The room was small, however very clean. Towels soap, tv, parking 24hr, and breakfast were included in the rate. No phone in the room nor small fridge. We purchased some orange juice and snacks and left the oranje juice on the balcony for the night. It was really cold the next morning. The furnace in the room was working properly it keep us nice and warm through the night. Internet was free in common areas however my laptop was able to pickup the signal from the reception or wherever the server or router was located at and were able to serve the internet all evening from the comfort of my room. I paid 42.50 for one night at this hotel. This rate included the room for the night, breakfast and parking for 24 hours. The parking was a good deal because in Ronda it becomes very difficult to find free parking on the streets and being able to park and take the car out as many times from the parking structure is a blessing. As far for breakfast can not comment because I am still at the hotel and as soon as I summit this review I will be heading to the cafeteria to enjoy some type of continental breakfast. As far as I know this hotel was a good choice to explore Ronda and go for a little bit of shopping.

Room Tip: Any room with a street view should enable your laptop to access the wi-fi signal from the lobby

We stayed on November 23rd, 2011. Our GPS got us right to the hotel. No parking near the hotel. You can pay the hotel for parking at the city center parking garage. The bridge is a short walk away. This is a fairly small town so there are plenty of nearby options for dining. Accomodations were good for the price.Clean and quiet. Breakfast is basic conteniental. We left a souvenir in our room and Vicky sent it without asking for payment first.

Nothing special but good for the price. It is a ten minute walk to the old part of Ronda and there are shops and restaurants nearby. It can at times be a little noisy at night. The hotel has private parking and a good breakfast for a very reasonable price. Free WIFI but the signal was too weak to have WIFI in the room.

This small hotel is a budget recommendation in the 8th edition of Lonely Planet's "Spain." I paid 33 euros per night, which included breakfast.
The property has an elevator and wifi on the first floor. There is no wifi in the rooms. My room was good sized and very nice. I ordered a single but was given a double because my room was not ready, and the housekeeper had left for the day. I was in room 303 which had a private terrace with excellent views. The hotel is totally non smoking.
The hotel is a block from the main pedestrian only street and within easy walking distance of the major tourist sites (Ronda is quite small).
For Spanish speakers, the desk clerk, Jose, is a real hoot.

Room Tip: Room 303 on the third floor has a private patio and excellent views.

We spent two nights at the San Francisco in early October 2011. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the street. The hotel is situated one block off the main shopping street so it is quieter than most. We had no street noise when the windows were closed. Very clean and quite comfortable. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the sights and is a great budget option. We would recommend it easily.

Extremely good value for a comfortable and clean hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel, the staff where very frienldy and useful, recommending a couple of very good local tapas bars and restaurants.

Perfect for a short break in Ronda.

This was the most economic hotel where I stayed in Spain. The room was very basic and a bit dusty. Still all the necessary facilities. Bathroom was recetly renovated but the shower curtain was too small to keep water away from the floor.

Location was good, a few minutes' walk from the touristic centre and ten minutes from the railway station.
