Only stayed one night,. we had a room with a balcony, ideal for sipping the complimentry cava! The bar and the dining room are full charming,, Dinner was a treat, perfectly cooked and presented.
We both had an excellent nights sleep and were not desturbed by either the traffic or the trains. Highly recomended.

Spent a lovely weekend in this pretty, superbly run converted mill near Ronda. Not posh, warm and friendly. ( We're becoming professional Ronda inn-goers; we've stayed in five over the past 2 years.) This was by far the best value, had the nicest guests, best food and the most attentive hosts. Our room was the least expensive option, and perfectly nice.
The hosts define hospitality, from the welcoming chilled 1/2 bottle of cava to the really nice bed linens to the complimentary afternoon tea treats. Lunch and dinner are exceptionally well-prepared, featuring whatever's market-fresh. An optional cooked breakfast at a modest surcharge was another nice touch.
We returned to Malaga feeling spoiled and refreshed; feel sure we'll return.

This is a lovely small, rustic hotel. Our drive to Ronda was during a very dramatic thunderstorm and we arrived late and tired with no power/telephone lines working- the fantastic welcome by the owners was greatly appreciated. Elaine is a superb host offering exceptional, personal service. Our room was very well appointed with a quality en-suite and large terrace (with a welcome bottle of Cava). We enjoyed an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant which was very good value. There is a resident's lounge with free tea/coffee and cakes and 'honesty' bar. Although the hotel is located outside Ronda (5-10 mins drive) it was great to return after sightseeing and relax by the pool.

My wife, mother and I came for six nights and had a wonderful time. I have never stayed anywhere else with such consistently good food. The English owners, Elaine and Ian went out of their way to cater to all our needs. On the last morning Ian whipped up some eggs benedict with a divine hollandaise. Another nice touch was that Elaine kept a laptop with a good internet connection out at all times in the bar area.
Each day we took gorgeous drives to quaint white villages on little curvy mountain roads. Our big day trip was down to Gibraltar. It was about an hour and a half drive each way. My expectations for Gibraltar were pretty low, but I wound up being pleasantly surprised.
The rooms were good and essentially new with the renovation having been completed just a couple of years earlier. I have stayed at little boutique hotels all over the world and this one is right up there with the best.

We stayed at Hotel Molino del Puente, Ronda in September 2009.

First of all I would like to say that Ian and Elaine Love who run the hotel are absolutely lovely people and make you feel extremely welcome.

On our arrival Nicky greeted us warmingly and as the dining room was not open on a Monday night she should us to the tv room where Elaine and Ian had put on sandwiches, cake and bottled water. There was also an honesty bar stocked with wine, beer etc. We also had a half bottle of bubble in our room as a welcome gift. Which I thought was a lovely thought.

The hotel is very informal. Our room was just perfect and the decor was lovely. We had a terrace which looked on to the local railway line. This was not a problem as the trains are very infrequent.

We dined at the hotel and the food was also excellent, and they also have an extensive wine list.

The Hotel is about a 8 minute drive into Ronda, which is not a problem as it gets you away for the crowds that flock Ronda between 10.30 and 3.30. After 3.30 the town of Ronda relaxes and all the locals come out and sit and drink coffee, eat tapas and they watch the world go by.

Ronda is a wonderful city to visit.

We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in Rhonda for a friends wedding and Elaine and Ian made our stay fantastic. The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and were able to cater for all our needs. A beautiful place away from all the crowds. I would highly recommend Hotel Molino del Puente to anyone and everyone.
