We rented 2 houses connected to each other 1 for my daughter her husband and the 3 grandchildren and one for my wife & I. Great location on the edge of the woods. Nice & quiet clean and modern. Plenty of things in the bungalo park for the kids to do. Swimming pool indoors & outdoors, indoor activity centre, tennis, childrens animal petting area.
Good food in the resturant and teh snack bar. Would reccomend this as a family holiday but be sure that you go in the off season period ( saves 50%) on the price.

Our family of 5 together with our friends booked for a week in April. We had paid for properties next door but when we arrived they couldn't put us together. To be honest it didn't dampen our week. Our detached bungalow was newly refurbished and had a dishwasher. My husband did a little dance when he saw it. The views from every window were of trees. We even saw red squirrels. This was our second landal site. We visited sonneburg in Germany last October and were taken with the facilities and reasonable prices. Rabbit hill didn't disappoint either. We used the pool twice. Ate in the restaurant on ribs and fries night. Had pizza from takeaway. Shop on site was fantastic and not overpriced either. Can't fault this place at all. Planning to book our next landal for later in the year.

The rabbit hill landal location is a very nice holiday bongalows in the woods. The bongalwos are nice and clean but very small!!another thing that was very strange and we didn't like that you got only one roll of toilet paper foe the family!! So you need to take that into consideration..also you it's nit a hotel so there is no room cleaning, no changing of linen nothing for the whole week..actually it's nice zimmer for sleeping and to go for your trips everyday.

We stayed in this park for 11 days (end March and the beginning of April) in the 4 person bungalow - 4C.
All the interior there was new, besides the dishes (that were pretty old and not very good - for example there was no one decent knife to cut vegetables etc.). The minus of this bungalow is its location, it is pretty far from main facilities (10 minute walk), but everything can be reached by a car and since it was very cold that what we did.

The bungalow is very comfortable, and well heated (besides nights - during nights there is an automatic turn off and it gets cold very quickly).

The beds are pretty comfortable (my husband thought they were too soft).

The park itself is great with everything young children love - indoor pool, indoor playground ( and the "indoor" here is very important since it was pretty cold when we stayed here -2C on average ). The outside facilities also seem very nice, although we did not use them.
You can find all details in the Landal site.

The restaurant is also fine with medium prices, as well as the supermarket.
We really enjoyed the Easter evening buffet -which was fantastic - very tasty food, plenty food.
On contrary, I did not like the child buffet.

We visited Amsterdam (1 hour drive), Burger Zoo -one of the nicest we visited in Europe (half an hour drive) and Juliana Toren Amusement Park - very expensive and almost nothing to do for kids above 4 years old (10 minute drive) and Apeldoorn Saturday Market - very, very nice market with food and clothes (10 minute drive) .

It was very cold, so we mostly spent time in the great pool and indoor playground and enjoyed our bungalow

The reception people were very friendly and gave us everything we asked for.

It is pity though that there is no free Internet in the park, even in the reception.

In overall apart from the cold weather we had a nice holiday.

Tips for reservation:

1. Do not take the comfort package (the one that includes tea, coffee, shampoo and soap) - too pricy for the amount you get.
2. We enjoyed the "Eat in Eat out" package, which was cheaper than the prices we would pay on the site.

Room Tip: Take a bungalow with dishwasher if you are going to cook a lot. The newly renovated bungalows hav...

We booked 6pm Thursday evening and arrived 24 hours later. We had a 3 bed bungalow with parking and dishwasher plus paid to have the beds made up (good move). No oven but we knew that. The bungalow was in a good state when we arrived and had everything we needed.

We were a bit worried as couldn't book a non smoking bungalow but it was fine. We were about 5 mins walk from pool etc and our nearly nine year old was able to go off on his own. Landal rate the pool in their brochure as 3 star and we feel this is a realistic rating, the children enjoyed it. Lots to do and well worth buying your tickets for day trips as you save a bit, something like 9 euros for a family on trip to Apenheul.

One thing to note is free Internet is for laptops, you need a cable to connect, it is not Wifi. The onsite shop is handy but expensive as you'd expect. We used the supermarket in Voorhuisen and enjoyed an ice cream at the Ice cream place a bit further down, lovely and just one Euro for a con with a scoop.

That's my bit. Asked my son for input, he says very very good, 5 stars, lots of freedom. And my 13 year old daughter is also enthusiastic too.

A nice park, close enough to known attractions.
Indoor and outdoor pools. Few restaurant / snack bars.
Great activities for kids: playgrounds, Gymboree, etc.
We stayed in a "4E" room - intended for 4 people. There are more types of rooms - selection depending on the number of people, accessibility, and more.
The kitchen is equipped well. Cleaning equipment is very poor. Guests should bring / buy more (hand soap, dish soap and / or dishwasher tablets.
Our Room has been received somewhat dirty.

We also recommend to buy food, etc. in a nearby Supermarket rather than using the Park Shop as the latter is quite expensive (but convenient...).

Note: this is a park, not a hotel, expectations should be set according to that. I did not expect more.

In short: very nice park to spend time at. Very good facilities. Cleanliness can be improved.
Recommended for families travelling in the Netherlands!

Room Tip: Ask for dish washer room. We used a "4e" room and did not have a dishwasher.
