“Great beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

A lot of hotels on a white stretch of sandy beach. The hotels take the kelp off each morning. Try to get a balcony facing ocean. ESJ Towers had great rates and they don't charge resort fees.

“Touristy, but worth it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2014

First, The El San Juan Hotel Sunday nights has a HOT Latin Band (Drinks are pricey, but it keeps the riff raff away). Bebo's and Resposteria Espanol is nearby. Oh, and there's a BEACH!

“Great place to stay and play.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2014

Beach is open and safe, people are friendly. Plenty of restaurants and a Walgreen's just in case. We were able to walk down the strip at all times of day and night.

“Best beaches in PR are right around the corner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2014

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriot in San Juan and it was the last hotel on the strip heading east and the beach next to the hotel was a public beach that was the best beach we experienced and we drive 500 miles all over the island looking for a decent beach. It was clean with calm waters and soft sand. If you desire a beach vacation in PR, definitely Isla Verde.
