On our recent trip to Puerto Rico My wife and I needed a change from all the fried food we had been eating. When we had passed Piu Bello my wife mentioned that there was one in our neighborhood in NYC so we decided to have a late dinner there.
It was just what we needed we both had turkey and bacon club sandwiches with came with a side of fries. They also had unsweetened ice tea. Our waitress was attentive and we did not suffer the usual long wait that is common in Puerto Rican restaurants.
Two nights later we needed something sweet for desert so we went back again for some of their Gelato. It was quite good, so good that a couple of nights later we went back for more. Piu Bello is perfect for a late night snack and dessert. If you're in the area and need that type of food fix give them a try.
