If you are looking to go to a place in Greece then go to this hotel as it is great for couples as it is calm and quiet and not many children but however is great for family's as there are many facilities for children.
The hotel room: The room was the exact same to the photo on Thomson's website. The room was lovely, very clean and modern. Many hotels only have showers and I loved how this one had a bath but you could still shower as well and it was very easy to change temperature. The had as much storage for clothes to fit my wardrobe at home in and even more so no matter how much you're planning on packing you can store in the room. The bed in the room was comfortable however my family said it wasn't so some will love it and some won't. The room had a dressing table so great for girls who love to get ready with a big mirror. In the dressers draw was a hair dryer but it was tiny and awful and did not dry my hair so recommend brining your own. We didn't pay for a sea view balcony and was very pleased we didn't as from our room we could see the sea and mountains with many houses on which looked so pretty at night as they lit up. If your planning on booking then get the swim up rooms as you can sun bath and go in the pool as soon as you get too hot and also the pool is more private.
The food: At breakfast every day there was plenty of fry up food which was delicious and warm. There was also pancakes and waffles and plenty of fruit except strawberries and raspberries as in Greece there seemed to not have any berries. There was also different options of cereal and somedays there was French toast. At lunch time the food was absolutely delicious, there was always chips and different types of Pizza but always a margarita one. There was a huge variety of salad and fruit. There was always different options of meat and many sides such as rice. There was icecream which you could help yourself to at anytime and you could serve yourself. The icecream flavours were vanilla, chocolate, mint, strawberry and banana. Also they had desserts such as profiteroles and cheesecake. At dinner time they always had pasta, spaghetti, chips and different types of meat. There was a theme every night such as Mexican, Italian and Greek. There was similar food to lunch as there was plenty of fruit, vegetables, icecream and deserts. If you have children they will love the food as there is a child section for food which many adults loved also. Breakfast and dinner was in the same room with a balcony which you could see the sea and sunset which was beautiful. Lunch was outside with a shelter incase of bad weather but you could see the sea also.
Drinks: It is definitely worth going all inclusive as you can help yourself to as much drink as you want. At the beach bar they served coffee, tea, cappuccino, cocktails, fizzy drinks, kids cocktails, fruit juice, squash etc. Also at dinner and breakfast you could order the same drinks.
Staff: The staff were so friendly and were always wanting to help you if needed. The hotel was a very calm place so it was nice not hearing loud music and staff playing loud games like you get at some hotels. The staff held exercise classes but didn't pressure you to go which also you get at some hotels.
The beach: The beach was a sandy beach which was lovely as I found a lot of beaches in Greece are pebbly. The beach is a 1 minute walk from your hotel room which was lovely. There is no need to wake up early and put beach towels down as staff make sure that everyone has a bed if you can't find one. The beach bar was directly on the beach so you could get your drinks fast. There was also showers and shower for your feet which was lovely when you are covered in sand from the beach.
Facilities: There was a gym which was lovely as you could run on the running machine and look out to the pool. There wasn't free wifi which was disappointing and it cost €50 for a week for one person which is very expensive. There was computers you could use which was €1 for 15mins and it froze quite a while. There was also a place for parents to let their children play and do fun activities with staff and other children throughout the morning and afternoon.
Corfu town: There is a bus that runs you into town and you need to book in reception but there is always plenty of room. The town was amazing as I love makeup and there was a sephora, body shop and the Hondos centre which sold mac at 23% off!! There was also many stools but have a look around and then purchase as it got cheaper the more you walk. It is about a 20 minute drive to town and when they drop you it is a 2 minute walk and you will start to see the shops if you walk straight on. If you walk down uh the river it is much longer and hotter.
The weather: When I got there it was night time and was average not hot but not cold. It was lovely as in the early morning and late night it is very cool so you can go to sleep without feeling hot and sticky. By 10am it will be 30 degrees and lovely and starts cooling down at 6:30pm. I found sleeping at night with the air con was too cold which is unusual for a hot country but it was lovely as was easy to sleep.
I highly recommend going to this hotel as it is amazing and has been the best holiday I have been to so far!!!
