Our family gave us the most wonderful gift, 3 nights at this beautiful resort. From arrival at the main entrance to our departure, we experienced something like never before. The ambience was breathtaking, such a relaxed atmosphere amongst a very natural environment in the Blue Mountains. The individual villa’s had everything including your own pool, mountain bikes and rocking chairs on the veranda, so what you did with your time was completely up to you. There were books to read and movies to watch or planned activities if you wanted to participate. However, you could just go for a walk/run along the tracks and take in the wildlife. We also found the main swimming pool a treat, felt like we were swimming in an oasis surrounded by mountains. The staff we’re extremely respectful, friendly and everything very personalised. They provide excellent food and wine (local where possible) with a unique opportunity to taste your cheeses for your own individualised cheese platter. I would also highly recommend the Spa as their therapies are exceptional. There was nothing else one would need, a fabulous resort.

Room Tip: It would not matter what Villa you stayed in. Some are further away from the main dinning area so if walking was a problem they arrange to pick you up.

Beautifully appointed rooms (actually individual houses complete with personal pool). Excellent food and service. Great getaway in bush environment with fantastic mountain bike trails up the valley. Horse riding is just a walking trail ride ie relaxing and good for beginners but no trotting, cantering etc on standard ride, though I think we were told a personal ride could be organised for this, with extra charge. Nearby walk to Newnes Glow worm tunnels is a must, free drop off and pick up was great. Overall a fantastic place to stay and worth paying a little more than usual for a bush retreat.

Room Tip: All well located and beautifully appointed, cant go wrong.

We have traveled "luxe" all over the planet and this unique oasis rates at the top. The Villas are superbly appointed, the staff are attentive and yet completely respected our privacy and the natural surroundings are breathtaking. We got used to be greeted by wallaroos on our walk to dinner and wombats as we ambled past the river. The naturalists on staff are experts in the natural history of the place and also very knowledgable about the plant and animal life that abounds on the property. Couldn't have asked for more.

Just returned from a luxurious 4 night stay at Australia's best accommodation. I won't repeat what other reviewers have said. The food, service, location, ambiance, everything is top notch.
A special mention of the fantastic service from Shane, the 2 Nicholas, Anna Maria, Thandar and Lewis at the pool. Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you again next year.

Room Tip: All the villas are excellent, however we had one down near the river which had an unimpeded view of the countryside and the kangaroos- from the bath tub!

I loved the wines, the creative and seductive menu, seasoned with exemplary personal service.... "I need some advice please. The alacarte menu and the degustation both have choices I would die for..." Mix and match or try both..." Came the reply. It's that easy...

We enjoyed three wonderful nights... Perfect in almost every way... Just wondered whether there might be a seasonal fly or mossy issue?
