We had a delicious lunch in this sun-drenched cafe. The all day breakfasts are really yummy - don't pass up the perfectly baked tomatoes! The only downside is a lack of more child-friendly eating options. Good prices for a good sized meal - it was nice not to have a huge plate overflowing with food for a change.

Thank Jo P

I have been to this restaurant several times and always received excellent customer service and the food is always of a terrific standard. Its also a pleasant atmosphere with gentle background music.

Had a latte here unlike anywhere else before. It has to win points for being unique even though it fell short. Served in an irish coffee glass, you practically have to assemble the coffee yourself - while this is great for those who like to make or customise their drinks, those that pay to just drink a good coffee may find it annoying like I did. Overpriced for what you get, those of you trying to wake up with your morning caffeine hit will probably find it all confusing.

The atmosphere however is great and I loved the unique jazz feel. It's a bright, clean cafe with the hanging-from-ceiling instruments the highlight of my experience here.

We love the all day breakfast menu. Delicious range of food and the coffee is just satisfying. However, it took 15 mins to flag for a waitress and 30-45 mins for our order to arrive.

The Timeless Way is set in Channel Court with a large dark coloured curtain roping it off from the shopping centre. The music and the instruments dangling from the ceiling were certainly a great introduction. The service was exuberant, perhaps too much so and the food was definitely cafe style. That said, the antipasto platter we shared was interesting and well presented. The main meals were a letdown with the exception of the encrusted salmon which was superb. The garlic prawns were swimming in a soup (rather than a sauce) which was a bit unexpected. The real letdown was the presentation of frozen rather than fresh veggies. With a fruit/veg store next door this is inexcusable. We bravely decided to try dessert and were pleasantly surprised. Both the sticky date pudding and fruit salad (with fresh fruit) were what we would have expected and came with ice cream and cream. The background jazz music was fantastic but the overall standard of food did leave a lot of room for improvement. It might be a good venue to turn up about 8 for dessert and jazz (the music finishes at 930pm).
