The studio tour was amazing! Spectacular! We have been to the traveling exhibit on the US and this is ten times as extensive. They control the amount of people on at one time so it never felt overcrowded. The only slight annoyance was having to pay for the bus from Watford-it's a special bus just for the studio so should be included. But that aside, the studio is fabulous and a must see for fans.

“The Making of Harry Potter”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

I booked this tour for my daughter,( who is 19) and myself in December 2011 and have been very excited ever since! We were not disappointed at all in any aspect of our experience. Getting there was straight forward but a few more signs to guide us as we got off the motorway would have been helpful. Access to the sight was easy, parking attendants were efficient and polite. The whole building looks impressive and only adds to the excitement as you get closer! The entrance area is large and bright, staff very welcoming and helpful. The cafe is on the expensive side, but no more than any other attraction nowadays. A good tip is to arrive early and go into the gift shop to have a look at what is on offer and decide before you take the tour on what you want as the shop can be very crowded as you leave the tour. We did this and at the end of our tour were able to go straight to the things we wanted, pay for them and then leave the shop. Our friends hadn't had a look earlier but wished they had after trying to navigate around the shop when it was really full!

As for the tour itself, well, mind-blowing was the only word I could come up with afterwards. The staff were obviously fans of Harry and their enthusiasm and knowledge was there for all to see. They were very helpful when you needed them and unobtrusive when you didn't. The sets are awesome and the amount of detail that went into everything was astounding, we will visit again in the future to see all the little things we missed this first time! Take your time, no-one rushes you through which is great, there were queues for the photo opportunities but if you come prepared for a wait then you'll be ok.

If you are a Harry Potter fan then this is the attraction for you!

“Harry Potter Tour”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

Fantastic. Well organised and very friendly, helpful staff. The earphones are a must for those who are not up to date on the Harry Potter Novels but if you are then maybe give them a miss. The detail was out of this world and it is almost worth going again as I am sure we missed lots of little details and we were there over four hours. I would say that older children will get more out of this attraction as they have grown up with Harry Potter and there are not many 'hands on exhibits'. The shop was expensive. Could only find half a dozen items less than £5 which was disappointing. But overall brilliant value for money and well worth going. Enjoy.

Simply stunning. Our family group had a big age range, we all thoroughly enjoyed it and nobody got bored. It was easy to get to and well signposted. We loved every minute and would go again. Our most awesome moment was seeing the scale model of Hogwarts. Staff were also very friendly and helpful.

“Harry Potter studio tour is brilliant!”

A real highlght of our european holiday! A must for every Potter fan. Brilliantly done with an amazing number of sets, props and behind-the-scenes displays. Make sure you grab an audioguide on the way in. The shop is huge and you can buy anything you can imagine from the HP books.
We follwed the instructions to travel there via train and bus and had no problems at all (make sure you get the express train as it only takes 20mins in lieu of ~50 mins).
