From the moment you arrive you feel the magic. The attraction is clean and well organised. The staff are well presented, friendly and very knowledgable. There is a lot of space to move about at your own pace, enjoy photo opportunities and you get so close to the sets and costumes. A very enjoyable four hours and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's great value for money and makes me want to watch the films all over again :-)

Thank swirlers

easy to book tickets online and good information on website. We received emails before going reminding us to bring confirmation and directions to get there.
Fab location, plenty of parking, a cafeteria to get a bite to eat and coffee, although we took our own so never used this facility. Friendly, helpful staff pointing you in the right direction.
Staggered entry which works so did not make it too busy.
Amazing props etc wont tell too much! Make sure you try the butter beer £5 with a keepsake glass a bit expensive but defiantly worth it!! YUM YUM!!
Shop a bit pricey but a good range of goodies from a key ring to a wand!
I would recommend this and take a camera!!
Happy wizardry !!

The tour is amazing, all the sets and props were breathtaking, the attention to detail that went into the films was unbelievable.
It says the tour lasts for 3 hours, we took our time to view everything and had done it all in 90mins......that worked out at £1 a minute.
Took my 3 children into the gift shop and was disgusted at how much they were charging......a very small box of every flavour jelly beans was £8.95, a replica wand was £25, a house tie was £24, and a replica cloak £75
While as parents we all realise that all gift shops are slightly overpriced, I could not believe the blatant desire to rip parents off. I got the impression that this was just a money makingexercise and they didn't really care that the young fans off Harry Potter would be disappointed that their saved up pocket money would not buy them any souvenirs of the day.
Not all parents have a huge amount of disposable income, so a trip to the tour was a "big" day out for all of us, and I left feeling very cheated and angry.
It is a fantastic tour but if you visit then be prepared that if your child wants a cloak and wand it will set you back £100........

For everybody who watched and loved the Harry Potter movies, the Warner bros. Studio Tour offers a great time you can spend wandering through the original sets used for the movie.

There are different ways to get to the attraction. For people who come by car they offer a big parking area, but we used public transport. If you take public transport, the nearest station is Watford Junction. You should start your journey at least 2 h before the time of your tour, becomes it takes quite a long time from the city to Watford Junction. At the station, there are coaches that bring you right to the attraction for only 2 pound including the return.

When you arrive you should get your tickets first. It's quite easy and it doesn't take a long time If you still have time before the tour starts you can visit the job, the variety of products is HUGE, but unfortunately most of the articles are quite expensive. Still, the chocolate frogs, wands, costumes and books are exciting and probably nobody leaves without buying something. It's nearly paradise for real fans.
There are also rest rooms and a café. The queue at the entrance to the tour moves pretty quickly and you can already look at the first attractions while waiting.

The first thing you are going to see is a movie as an introduction. Afterwards a guide shows you the Great Hall and tells some interesting stuff about it, but real Harry potter experts already know most of it. Nevertheless the staff is very helpfull and has much knowledge about the attractions and the movies.
You should take about 3 hours for the tour. You're going to see The Gryffindore Common Room, Dumbledore's office, The Ministry of Magic and much more. There are also some videos showing interviews with art directors, producers and so on. And even real experts are going to find things they didn't know before. There is also the opportunity to take some photos showing you on a broomstick as a memorabilia, but there is a queue of people who want to take such a photo, so you have to decide whether you want to wait or continue the tour. It's allowed to take photos throughout the whole journey.
After the indoor part of the tour you are going to see outdoor sets, like Privet Drive 4. In this part of the tour there is also a shop offering real butter beer. But like the articles from the souvenir job, the beer is quite expensive.
After this you continue the tour seeing an impressive model of hogwarts and a lot more.

All in all i highly recommend the tour to every Harry Potter fan who wants to find out more about the making of the movies and get more knowledge about the HP-World.

Have been wanting to check out the Harry Potter film studios for quite some time now, and I wasn't disappointed!

- Very well signposted on the M25 (we drove there). Impossible to get lost once you're on the M25.
- Loads of parking space, no problem there.
- We were booked in for the 5.30pm slot but seeing as we got there early they let us in early too! (not sure if that happens all the time, but it was much appreciated!)
- You start the tour off with a small film clip in a mini cinema room. Then the magic begins! (don't want to spoil it for you...)

Best bits from the tour :
- Diagon Alley
- Hogwarts
- Getting photo taken on broom (did have to queue up for 40 mins but was worth it). For info, you can have photo on the flying car, the broom or at the end of the tour you can have a "wanted" photo taken. One photo costs £12. 2 photos for £15.
- All the small film clips showing you how Harry Potter was made / special effects

Loved every minute of it!!! Definitely worth going to!
