Stayed for 3 nights - Room a bit small and cramped. We were in room number 9 an attic room so not for tall men or ladies. V comfy bed. Restauraunt food restricted choice but well cooked and presented - no fresh fish or seafood as advertised. All staff very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble for them - beautiful grounds and gardens despite the motorway traffic drone.

....

Room Tip: Dont choose the attic rooms.

Stayed for 2 days over the weekend. Nice hotel and they managed to keep all our wedding party together. The Junior Suites are lovely and modern with nice decor and the older rooms are nice too but some could do with an update. The vibe of the place is very relaxed and the staff are very friendly. Food was great and the wedding was very well organised, my only complaint was the reception was not open when we arrived (fairly late) and it was messy finding where to go and who to talk to. We forgot about this when we got to the room!

Room Tip: Junior Suites are lovely

As many others have stated this is not really a hotel, but more like a motel with the M5 audible our room. The room was small, with a poor finish and included a detailed list of charges which will be made for damaging or stealing anything from the room including the remote control and kettle...! The food was fine, the staff were friendly and the spa relaxing. We had a nice time overall but the cost was too high and it did not live up to the 4* manor house expectations.

Such a relaxed vibe and overall chilled atmosphere. All of the staff are polite, cheerful and happy to help at all hours. I would come back any day and I would love to even see a wedding here, let alone host one, it would be amazing.

The spa is spectacular too!! I'll be back soon...

I recently visited Rookery Manor for the second time and had a fantastic, relaxing, enjoyable time and would recommend staying here to anyone . From the start to the end I was welcomed, helped and looked after by very friendly and well presented staff who all went out there way to help me (even the hotel Manager/owner).
The room was very well presented, spacious and a had a huge sized bathroom overlooking the wonderful gardens which are immaculately kept!
Treatments are carried out by friendly, experienced staff who make you feel at ease.
I would recommend the Rookery as great way to spend a weekend with a friend or a group of friends.

Must have the poached eggs for breakfast, superb!
