My boyfriend and I spent 5 nights at Bosque in the Mariposa cabina. It was the most divine experience and a true adventure. The cabinas, the staff, the grounds, and the activities at Bosque del Cabo are top-notch. We took full advantage of all the hiking trails, rain or shine!
We loved dinner at the communal tables with the other families on vacation and learned about how much fun waterfall rappelling would be and what wildlife we might find on the trials.
We encountered peccaries, agoutis, coatis, toucans, macaws, all 4 species of monkey, and so many other species during our stay. I saw Capuchin and Spider monkeys simply by looking up into the trees during a shower on our first full day. Just awesome.
The hike to the waterfall off the Pacific Trail is worth it, and a quick swim in the natural pools on the Creek Trail is absolutely refreshing. Must dos! We did the sunset walk and the Primary Rainforest trek with Philip - he is so smart and knowledgeable about the rainforest. You will come back knowing more than you ever expected you about leaf cutter ants and the flora of the forest. Waterfall rappelling with Carlos was a exhilarating!
