Fantastic holiday. Would highly recommended this house. On arrival home baked bread, cakes and local produce awaited us as a nice welcoming gift. Marie and Iain always available if we needed anything. Fantastic views of the ferries crossing to Ireland and back, this not your run of the mill holiday house, everything is very clean and every conceivable extra has been thought of. Will definitely be back.

“One of the best”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A spectacular and impressive house and views. A welcome feast of local goodies, we just needed to put the kettle on and appreciate our surroundings with a nice cup of Scottish tea(all provided).

Kircolm is just a few minutes drive away with excellent scenic views. An early morning stroll to the lighthouse and back is recommended and a drive to Lady Bay is very worthwhile.

If booking an evening meal at the lighthouse we recommend an early booking.

I would strongly recommend the lodges for a relaxing holiday.

“Fantastic house, great location, highly recommended”
Reviewed 5 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

As a large group of friends, we were looking for a relaxing location for a few days over the new year and couldn't have done better than Corsewall farm lodges. The house is fantastic - it feels brand new and everything provided is to a very high standard. There is so much space and the kitchen/lounge area in particular is perfect for relaxing and enjoying some time away from it all. The location is superb - great views out to the sea and plenty of trails for walking or running. Marie was a great host - excellent communication before and during our stay, and the welcome pack was a unexpected treat. We would very happily come and stay here again.

“Much more than a cottage”
Reviewed 27 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

I have just returned from a Christmas holiday (4 nights) with my family, 9 of us, at the cottage. I cannot rate it high enough. Marie met us and showed us round the spacious, perfect ground floor. The bedrooms upstairs are a revelation in comfort and luxury. Every appliance and gadget is provided and the views are spectacular. I cannot say any more other than go there and experience the magic for yourself .

“A couple of weekends ago my family and I stayed in one of the Corsewall Castle Lodges, it was fantastic.”
Reviewed 31 October 2016 for a stay in August 2016

The Finishes were fresh and new. Everything was to a high standard. Every conceivable cooking aid was available. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The 360o views were incredible. The short Sunday walk to the Lighthouse Restaurant finished a perfect weekend.
Well worth a return visit.

“Absolute treat”
Reviewed 22 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We stayed at the lodge for a long weekend (3 nights) with extended family, including lots of kids aged 3-9. The location is stunning, very quiet and peaceful. We arrived about 4pm on the Friday and were able to clearly see the Northern Ireland coast, the views from the property are stunning. The lodge has loads of parking and is very private. There are no roads close by and the farm yard is quite separate and gated so our kids can ran about outside.

Inside the lodge is bright, modern and very tastefully decorated and furnished but not fussy. The big lounge has a great big comfy couch, cosy woodburner and a big TV which the kids loved watching for chilling out with cartoons. Bedrooms are comfy and the bed linen is high quality hotel standard, which was a real treat.

We ate out one night in the local pub in Kirkcolm and cooked 'in-house' the other 2 nights. The kitchen is well kitted out, the wine chiller is a nice touch. Being picky, a blender would have been handy to make kids smoothies, but everything else was there by way of crockery, glasses, microwave coffee maker etc.

The wi-fi worked well and a landline is provided with an honesty box as mobile reception was patchy. It was great for getting away from it all and enjoying some quality family time.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked for longer.
