This was our third year at Crealy Meadows, to celebrate my daughters birthday and we have always been massively impressed, the facilities, the friendliness of staff, the cheerful entertainment, and this is why we rebooked again for this year. My husband checked us in, I arrived a little later, we were in a very large party - 4 safari tents, which cost us together in excess of £1300 for the weekend. We expected somewhere to be able to go during the evening, and certainly not to be told at 7.30pm, no you can't go there, private function, as if our meagre contribution was worth nothing! As a large group I'm sure we were noisy, simply because we were unable to leave the site, so for fellow campers I do apologise. We attempted to discuss this with the manager, he was apparently in on Sunday, but when we went to the office, he was not in until Monday, 9.30. So Monday morning we trouped along, he was in a managers meeting, and then as if by magic after the meeting he was not there, customer service abysmal, I would never give out a rubbish review on here, had anyone made an effort to actually discuss this with us, I don't think it is worth the money for camping with nothing on site after 5.30, put you hard earned cash somewhere else folks

This was the 3rd time I visited with my family and probably my last. The evening entertainment due to another party booking out the Adventure Zone considered of 30mins listening to music followed by 20mins children's entertainment then the staff were packed up and gone by 9pm!! The food was inedible and had to be returned as my children were unable to get their teeth through the South Fried Chicken burger, the hotdog was dry and the drinks expensive.

This was a free member night and gosh did it show, we were definitely treated like the poor relations, I felt sorry for the people that actually paid for this.

The campsite was clean and tidy but muddy and I do feel that after being open for a couple of years it is starting to go downhill, whereas the staff couldn't do enough for you when it first opened I would say the enthusiasm is starting to wane!!

If you pay for a good camp site like this with the entertainments area here it should be open not just to members or outsiders booking it was treated badly I feel. We were not allowed in the bar and Buddy bears was only open to members the toilet were ticked off daily but not cleaned at the time of signing the manager fobbed us off a few times to talk about it.

The campsite was lovely, very good facilities (the family bathroom was brilliant and cleaned every two hours) and friendly staff. The main reason for coming was Crealy Park which was perfect for our two under fives. The staff at Crealy park are amazingly friendly! The evening entertainment was fine for them and during the day they had a great time. It is easy to get a bus to Exeter and Sidmouth so would strongly recommend to anyone with children.

Another lovely break away at crealy , kids love it more every time , staff are helpful friendly and can't do enough for you . Toilets and showers always spotless, family bathrooms are brilliant . Pitches are roomy and well kept , The only thing we we disappointed was they should provide evening entertainment or even just acsess to an indoor play area ,bar and food outlet . We are crealy members and because it was members weekend there was acsess on the Saturday night but the rest of crealy was hired out for a function so our kids had to watch other children using all the rides etc and the better stocked bar and food outlet was only available to the party who hired it, so maybe it should have been thought about a little better . That aside we had a fab family time and booked another holiday before we left .

We came here last time when in school holidays! But this time came in June for a long weekend, never again! It's a fantastic place don't get me wrong! In season. But coming in June you have no where to go in the evening. The kids were bored and fed up!! And to finish it off no where to eat on site!! Terrible even the shop shut at 5.30 and reception. When you are paying a lot of money you expect something more on a weekend in June! Then to top it off we happened to stay on a members weekend, were on the Saturday evening we could go on the park and go in buddy's bear for something to eat! We thought great that will compensate the night before having to drive to the local pub!! Well buddy's bear was great for children under 8 but what do u do for older children, and then what really wound us up, was as they let us in the gate they ushered us through like peasants you go down to buddy's bear while we all watched members with there wrist bands all enjoying the rides at the park! And club house for a drink and food etc.. It teased are children and the 2 youngest was very upset! So we took them out and had to drive 6 miles to Pizza Hut!! What a joke very disappointed! It wouldent have hurt campers enjoying the fun too as we have paid a lot of money to camp at a safari tent!!

A fantastic site with easy access to Devon. The staff are very friendly they even let me change my pitch. Facilities are second to none and the family bathroom is the best thing ever. I did walk round the site and some pitches looked a lot better than others. We were pitch 18 and in the best position, I feel. Definatley worth a revisit
