We stayed two nights recently at Little Grey Cottage. It's location is really perfect, for The Eden Project, Charlestown,Fowey and the like.
your host Marian is lovely, and there was a pot of tea & coffee on the lawn, waiting for us, as soon as we arrived.
the garden is worth mentioning, for it is a proper secret garden complete with pond, where you can escape and catch up on that holiday book.
we were in Room number one, which is a double, quite compact, but beautifully clean & tidy and the bed is so comfortable.
broadband is available, but i couldn't get it to work in the bedroom. there is a lounge with large flatscreen and a good supply of books & information, where you can surf ok.
breakfast was superb and kept us going all day. plenty of choice, cereals, fresh fruit and juices.
full english for those like me, with a desperate dan appetite.
we ate out only the once, and had a nice meal at The Brittania Inn, which is located nearby on the A390 between St. Austell & St.Blazey.
the menu is fairly comprehensive and they serve up typical pub grub fare, which is reasonable and will cost you about £20 a head for two courses.
Summarizing then, we had a perfect two days and should Elbow play the Eden Sessions again, we will be back like a shot.
