On a quick trip staying on the square this was the recommended destination for "supper" so went with an open mind, mouth and wallet. It's Czech and specialises in fire grilled meat dishes. We had the garlic soup and the potato soup to start with, superb. Two wild boar dishes to follow and accompanied by the ubiquitously perfect draft beer. It is reall just the way food should be. Tip would be to not leave it too late as the kitchen seems to stop about 10 in the evening. Toilets are also very clean (just thought I would mention that) and knowing Czech for the genders is a good thing :-)

We stopped-by here on our way to Prague. We had 5 meals and 5 desserts and all was great and very tasty. All food is home made prepared on-the-spot and from the best ingredients. Service was very helpful and it's obvious they do their job with love. Very pleasant experience, recommending very much.

I have found this place with Tripadvisor, and I also recommend it to everyone. Despite the difficulties in communication, the waiting staff tries their best. I recommend mostly the very tender pork meat dishes prepared on fire in the restaurant itself.

The Restaurant was next to our Hotel, so we just tried it out, because we were looking for a typical Czech Meal.
It is smaller than it looks from the Outside, when you walk through the quite long Corridor to the last Door, which leads to the Restaurant.
The Interior is quite simple, yet atmospheric. Like a medieval Tavern. Also the Personal is dressed up like that.
The Service is very friendly and speaks German, Englisch, Czech etc. Some of the Food is grilled right next to the Table on the fire (See Pictures).
The Food was a dream, still hours ago i had that great taste of Cranberrys and Wild Pork in my mouth. For a Glass of Wine and a Main course i payed about 250 Czech krones, which is reasonable.

This restaurant was a brilliant find. A good, honest meal served by friendly host, locals were most welcoming and a great atmosphere. A true Bohemian experience, such a relief after Prague to find somewhere not so commercialised and busy.
