broken toilet seat, empty soap dispensers, no maid service during stay, worst breakfast ever-anywhere, no staff on site after 7:30, no where to sit outside your room as cafe and terrace locked up and gated at 7:30. dirty floors in rooms. no elevator. dilapidated stairs. no air conditioning. windows didn't open. NO WAY it gets 4*, maybe 2.

Room Tip: stay away.

Really nice and historic hotel in the very center of this beautifull city. We stayes in one of the 2 suites on the last floor. There is a very nice view to the castle. It´s fantastic to sleep and hear just the river. There iís no elevator so you have to walk the old steps every time (but it´s more than logical in the historical building). The receptionist are little bit chaotic and the restaurant downstairs is closing very early (around 7 pm). Would reccomend to visit the typical gipsy pub in front of the hotel entrance. Very nice place to stay in Cesky Krumlov !!!!

Room Tip: Choose the junior suite on the upper floor and especially the rooms with the views to the river and...

Very nice place for a short romantic stay in that amazing city. Definitely will come back. The provide us with late check-out which was very nice touch. Staff is very attentive and very polite. Just breakfast could be a little bit improved. Thank you!

The hotel has a great location right on the river. We were in room #3 which was HUGE and had 2 bathrooms - one with a toilet and one with a shower. That's just so nice when you're there with someone else. The decorations were so cozy, breakfast was small but good and we just really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is nicely located...walking distance to river and the town. Price is reasonable compare to hotels nearby. We had a very spacious room (room #6) with view of the castle. The room was very spacious... and well equipped. Free wifi worked well even on the third floor. But there are no elevators so be aware of that. We visited in Sept so did not test out the heater. The front desk was often unattended... and no map of the town was available. The manager (or the owner) can be a bit more friendlier (she almost never smile)... We stayed just for one night, so we were okay with everything.

We moved here from Dvorak hotel around the corner and found it much better value for money!
Receptionists were ever so helpful in dealing with booking and other stuff.
Our car broke down and they helped a lot liaising with the garage!

Room was bigger and more 'fresh' than the Dvorak.
Small and human sized.

Did not have breakfast so cannot comment.

Cesky Krumlov is a beautiful medieval town, with fairly limited accommodation options. We chose this hotel because of the location and the views of the castle (which are admittedly very good). We had the top floor, attic room on the riverside, which is very spacious and has a good modern bathroom.

But that's about where the positives end. The air-conditioning didn't work at all - except for the noise, making the room very hot. Housekeeping was non-existent, so no cleaning and no replenishing of the mini-bar. We ran out of soap in the shower, and toilet paper after the first night - neither of which were replenished - resulting in commando missions down the steep and precarious staircase to raid the cafe toilets. On the second night, the cafe and back door to the hotel were locked at 8pm and there was no reception or staff anywhere to be found. No assistance with bags up the three flights of stairs. The shower didn't drain properly. Main light in the room didn't work. TV didn't work.

All round - pretty shabby. Needs work and the service is very ordinary.

Room Tip: Try elsewhere
