Museum is interesting and if you have young children or grandchildren, you may be interested in the handmade marionettes that are for sale.

“No tours, no plays”
Reviewed 26 August 2013

The marionette's museum is suffering from the lack of income from sponsorship an it can be seen. The exhibition is placed in the attic of an old church but there is almost no information to be found around - just a lot of marionettes hanging around. It's nice, it's worth you while but it could be a lot better.

“To Have a Marionette”
Reviewed 20 July 2013

If you're interested in with theatre or marionettes, you should see that place. It was like a shop more than a museum, but i think that they have the better marionettes than other souvenirs and also they are cheaper. It was good to see some really old marionettes also and thanks them, i had a "Svejik" now.

“Small, but very interesting, fun and colourful!”
Reviewed 26 May 2013

The owner is very friendly and shows you up, it is a smallish attic filled to the brim with amazing marionettes. Some relating back to historic performances, very fun to look at and very colourful, it is on the way up to the castle and is definitely worth a short side trip!

“Marionettes”
Reviewed 24 October 2012

Not really worth the price or the visit. Not much and nothing in English so as to understand when the marionettes were done or why. Would not go again unless you LOVE marionettes.
