A lovely rustic hotel right in the middle of Cesky Krumlov. Full of character, the room was very big, clean and with a good ensuite shower room (the bath was in the corner of the main room). It was very quiet and the bed very comfy. The location was excellent being just yards from the main square yet minutes from the castle. The breakfast was adequate for the price of the hotel which was very reasonable. I would happily stay here again.

We spent two nights there, room 8, at the top of the building and loved the huge room with rafters in the ceiling. A perfect location, quiet at night, great buffet breakfast, wifi, and pleasant staff. Good value for the money

Hostel is located on a walking street right next to the main square so this is a plus, even though being such a small town everything is by walking distance.

Rooms quite simple with small bed. Everything is made by wood.

I recomend it for no more than 2 nights.

We had a room at the top of the stairs. It was really a 2 bedroom suite. One room had a queen size bed and the other a single. It was spotless clean and tidy. Very comfortable and the TV worked. The breakfast was large and plentiful. The hotel had a charming rustic feel and it was centrally located to all the fun in the village!

The location can't be better. You are literally among the shops, restuarants and bars right on the main street between the old towne square and castle...actually the front of this hotel is in most people's photographs when they take pictures of the castle from the main street. Walk out the door of the U Maleho Vitka and you are 1 minute from the river and main shopping that leads up to the castle in one direction, and 1 minute from the old towne square with more shops, etc. If you arrive by bus the bus depot (a parking lot) is about a 5 minute walk, although you may not realize that if you didn't ask ahead of time. You will just stumble in the right direction as all of the people getting off the bus will walk toward the end of the parking lot, up a little sidewalk and through a half-block or block section of towne until you realize you're headed in the right direction and eventually will just happen upon the old towne square. Pretty easy really, although may not be best for older folks especially if you're pulling luggage. The hotel is very cute and the rooms (at least those we stayed in; we had two) are very large, with modern bathrooms. The breakfast that comes with the lodging is very good; not a massive choice of items, but all you'll need and good. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked questions or needed help. They lock the place up around 9PM, but your keys will get you in the doors if you happen to be out to dinner or drinking after that time. We had one room that opened onto the cobblestone street/path in front which provided some great pictures, but is a bit louder if there are people out walking at night. But, this town is pretty quiet at night as most tourists leave once the day is over, so it wasn't a problem. Not a huge space to spread out all of your bathroom items if you use a lot of stuff, but you're in Europe and not America so you can get over it. I would absolutely stay here again, and will do so the next time I'm in Cesky Krumlov. What a wonderful town!
