Came here because of high ranking in T/A. The place seemed more upscale than we thought. We were bit embarrassed to show up in jeans and t-shirts as other clients had dressed up. The service was friendly, which is not always the case in Czech.
My daughter and I had lamb ragout on tagliatelle, which was excellent. My wife had fish, which tasted good and was fresh, although the place is nowhere near a coastline. As dessert we had excellent crepes suzette, which is always an experience. I've had crepes suzette in many places and this is very close to being the best ever.
For drinks we had Becherovka to start with. I am not too crazy about that, but it's worth a try. With the main course we had local wine (red and white), which tasted much better than expected.
All of that cost us (group of three) about 100 €, which I think was a bargain. Definitely a place to go in Karlovy Vary.
