Excellent hotel. Very luxurious spec in the rooms themselves, and throughout the hotel generally. Also, the place had a nice ambience and character. Very well located, on the colonnade, but just far enough away to be nice and quiet too. Service attentive, friendly and just the right side of obsequious (ie not too much).

Excellent on site spa - If you have few extra hours and would like to treat yourself, book an all day spa and let yourself be overly pampered :) It’s a wonderful place to spend a magical and a relaxing day. The service at this spa is incredible. The ambiance of the room is wonderful and the therapist was amazing. Relaxation is guaranteed.

Breakfast was very good. Unlimited buffet (hot and cold) and staff are very helpful. Food was fresh and of a high quality. Excellent service throughout the hotel. The hotel's Becher´s Bar is also recommendable - dishes plus drinks were imaginative and well-executed.

The beauty of the hotel's building in Carlsbad will attract your attention…but you could feel ‘’ages” inside as well. Luxurious halls and nice historical interiors with beautiful chandelles.
I stayed there for 4 days. Room was quite ok,not so big, with comfortable bed, but interior was made in a bit too dark colors, not much daily light from window, so u feel like its always “evening’’inside the room+auturm with rainy weather out,"made" your mood.... i didn’t like smell, felt like somebody was smoking before and furniture had same smell! quite clean bathroom with annoying a/c working automatically all the time. In general room needs renovation bec beauty of halls and historical interiors cannt made you feel comfortable or cozy in YOUR room…Breakfast buffer was nice and a lot to choose, tasty dinner I would say. Staff was friendly, good speaking English but has to move a bit faster, and don’t wait when guest will loose will to have a drink and leave…I was with family who had 2 small kids, so I could say they got assistants everywhere and didn’t have problem with pram or running all over small baby who was making noise and a bit :) mess around. But I would say, that for same money you can find better hotel with modern and fresh-renovated rooms, nice big bathroom and better service!

The Grandhotel Pupp is the very definition of old world charm. The room we had was newly renovated to a high standard and in keeping with the elegance of the hotel. The one disappointment was, our room was located in what appears to be an annex. If you want to go to the spa, you must go through one reception area, the casino lobby, down a hall visible from the outside, through the first bar, through the breakfast room, through the second bar, through a common room, through the second reception to the lift which takes you to the spa floor. With all that, it still was a lovely experience. The room was fabulous, but no shower in the bath. Internet was free.

We stayed in this hotel during the Film Festival. We were in newer part of the hotel. Room was small and you can see that needs renovate, bathroom was old.My mattress was very bedsore. The breakfast was very good, a lot of kinds of fruits, amazing porridge, eggs salad, a lot of salami, cheeses, good coffee, water with mint, water with cucumber and service was perfect. We visited Bechers bar and was disappointing. the interior is old and dark. I do not know this price is because of the festival but 4beers and 1tequila cost 950CZK. I do not recommend I think that Karlovy Vary has better accommodation.

The new spa does the trick. Fabulous facilities all free for guests. Had well priced massages but even without these luxuries you will massaged by water jets in special massage pools. Soft towel tones, high quality toiletries.

Rooms huge but you must stay in the front rooms. The rear a bit dark.

We stayed 2 nights and loved the town
