Stayed with family in April 2008. Great location for touring the area. Parking in secure hotel car park at no extra charge. Plenty of old world charm in traditional hotel and good welcome from reception staff.
Bed & Breakfast basis - did not use restaurant other than breakfast. Adequate selection of hot & cold items and plenty of it.
Rooms typical of older 'fin de siecle' style - high ceilings, good floor space and comfortable beds. Czech & German cable TV only - don't expect CNN/Sky. Rooms and hotel very clean throughout. We had shower only (no bath), but good water pressure and spotless bathrooms. Towels miniscule and would give Americans a fright, but that's a typical feature of traditional hotels in the region. Did not use hotel spa facilities, but evidence of people wandering round in bathrobes to dedicated 1st floor facilities.
Rooms at front of hotel have small balconies with views across park opposite -recommended.
Dining options limited locally. We used the Churchill restaurant at a neighbouring hotel that was part of same Orea ownership chain. Excellent food (very fair price - c.€20 a head) and very good, English speaking, service - recommended.
If returning to Marianske Lazne would be happy to use the Bohemia again - we paid €125 incl per night for double occupancy, €120 for single occupancy in same quality room.
All in all a very comfortable and satisfactory experience.
