Helpful, friendly, English speaking staff at reception, which is open 24 hours. Room overlloing atrium (so quiet) pleasent but I could hear people talking as they passed in the corridor snd nosiy children in another room. Bathroom large but slightly tatty. Resturant open for breakfast from 0700 (or a little beofre) and also in evening. Brekfats was vaired an denjoyabke. The hotel is right oppsifte railway staion so conveniet for rial travellers and only a short walk or tram ride into the city centre.

Room Tip: I imagine the rear (on the miain road) may be nosiier

Close to Urquell Brewery, tram stop, train station and downtown. Good price, solid breakfast, clean and tidy. The front desk folks were very helpful. The gentleman at night even ran out to set up our parking pass for the next morning.

Good value...we enjoyed our stay. It was roomy for 2 adults and one kid. Breakfast was good and had a variety of choices. It took 15 minutes to walk to the historic center of town and a quick 10 minute walk to the brewery. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at...the restaurant at the brewery has a kid play area !

The Hotel is on a main road with a Tram-Station right in front. The rooms are very big and the rates for it are pretty good ( we had a suite for less than 80€ ).
The standard is a little bit outdated, but its all clean, neat and tidy.
The breakfast offers fresh fruits, as well as warm food, eggs cooked to order and a solid selection of cerials, bread, etc.

The Pilsener Brewery is right across the street and also the old town is only a 10min walk.

Overall a good choice, if money matters and you don't have to be "in the middle of everything".

Room Tip: If you are sensitive to noise from the street or like open windows when sleeping...don't go there!

First impressions were good. I liked the reception area and was checked in by a friendly receptionist. Room was a generous size, large double bed with desk, armchairs and bathroom which was in good condition. Everything was clean and generally in good condition.

Lack of accessible power sockets in this day and age are vital. There were none near the bed or desk area. So instead I had to disconnect a free standing lamp from under the side table next to the bed so as to plug in my 4-way adaptor.

The bedroom window blinds barely cut any light out, so stopping on the longest day of the year meant I was awaken early by the morning light from the outside.

I took breakfast only on the first morning which was a good range of cold and cooked buffet. No complaints on that front.

On returning back to the hotel on the second evening, I had to get my door card re-programmed as it was only set up for the one night. Disappointing my room hadn't been serviced with even used towels thrown on the bathroom floor. The bed wasn't made up so I am guessing policy is not to do this say on two night stays?

So overall, a little disappointing for the price paid and the fact that it rates as a four star.
