Good value for price. Rooms clean and quite comfortable. All staff very friendly and in particular Tereza and Lada. Clear instructions offered to take bus and metro into city. Dinner at hotel restaurant under the trees at the end of a busy day was relaxing.
Staff will change Euros to local currency for you at a fair exchange rate. Secure parking as Gate locked at night.

Last July we got married close to Prague, which meant bringing my entire family over from Belgium.
We choose to locate them at Hotel Frýdl and we have not regret it for one moment. The service was very helpful and the cosy family atmosphere makes you feel welcome and at home. Furthermore it is not far from the Prague city centre and we found it easily accessible by car or public transport.
A last (but certainly not least) reason for your stay is the restaurant located at the site. It is absolutely fabulous. Great staff, very good food and all that for a very reasonable price.

Certainly worth your stay!

We selected this hotel as we had a car and based on fellow reviews of the easiness to get to central Prague on public transport. Firstly the hotel was very easy to find with parking at the site. Public transport was very easy to use to get to Prague and tickets can be bought at the hotel which also supplied a timetable. The bus stop is around 50 metres up the road and takes around 15 minutes to get to the underground station. From there it's around 5 stops to central Prague. The rooms at the hotel and spacious and were adequate for our needs. Rooms were quiet at night so we had great sleep while staying here. Lunch and dinner were both excellent from the on site restaurant. Breakfast served at the same place was ok and enough to get the day started.

A lovely little inn on the outskirts of Prague. Wonderful staff, charming rooms, grounds and restaurant. Recommend having a car, as nearest Metro station is a 10 minute drive away. From there it is a quick and cheap trip into the city center. Only one issue, and it's just personal preference, but the sheets are a terry cloth material and not very soft. (Not unusual for many European accommodations - bring your own if you're sensitive) Everything else was great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, picturesque place to stay while visiting Prague.

We stayed for two nights at this lovely hotel while visiting friends. The hotel was chosen and booked for us by a Czech friend and we were delighted with his choice. The rooms were comfortable and we slept well. We were fascinated by the attention to detail, with rounded edges being the order of the day. The hotel has clearly been built with love and maintained in a similar way.

The food was excellent, be it breakfast, a snack or a meal. Our only sadness was that we only had a couple of days to sample the menu!

What a lovely way to start and finish another wonderful trip to the Czech Republic. We hope it won't be too long before we return.

I booked this hotel for myself and other travelling companions which involved a lot of adjustments before arriving. The help via e mails was superb. On meeting the two ladies who I dealt with I found them to be excellent as well as beautiful!
They could show many a five star hotel how to deal with customer care.
The hotel was basically comfortable, adequate breakfast and excellent dinners. It is in a good location for travel around the areas north of Prague.
I stayed for a week with three other guests and would stay here again.
Just really friendly people.

Room Tip: Go for the Suites even if there is only two of you.

As the hotels in the center of Prague were a little pricey and usually without parking, we opted for this hotel in the outskirts, as it advertised private parking space and proximity to a bus stop. And yes, the bus stop is a very, very short walk away - I think the distance is even less than the 200 m the hotel says. During the weekends there is a bus leaving every hour (during weekdays, more frequently) for a 20-minute ride to the Ládví metro station on Line C. From there, it takes about 15 minutes to the Old Town by metro. The hotel sells public transport tickets for adults (for children, however, you have to buy them on the bus) and gives a free, well-detailed map that has been custom made. The receptionist immediately highlighted places of interest on the map. The premises of the hotel are quiet, wide and with many trees. The rooms are in the building with the restaurant, and the one with the owners' home. They are spacious and furnished with light wooden furniture, to give them a homely and traditional feel. In the hallways you can find books (mainly in German) to read. The restaurant with its rustic interior is quite cheap, but serves excellent Italian-inspired dishes. Breakfast was continental buffet-style, and even though the selections weren't as much as in some other hotels, the food was delicious and the choices were enough. Staying at this hotel made me feel very relaxed and I'd like to return there if I visit Prague again.
