The location of the hotel is ok, not a long walk to everything you wanna reach. We asked for a double bed which was two singel bed pushed together. Some of the staff was really friendly, but we got a little bit questioned by a girl when we didnt wanna use the hotels cab company, and instead have a cab by taxameter (which was so much cheaper) the breakfast is good and they have alot to choose from!

Dear Frippe26,

thank you very much for your feedback, we are happy to know, that you liked the location, friendly staff and nice breakfast.!
On the other hand, I am sorry to hear that you were questioned by a receptionist because of the taxi service. We provide our taxi service, the prices are fix, then you know how much will you pay. We don´t have a good experience with other taxi services, this is propably why she were tried to order for you reliable service. Hope to see you again.
Kind regards,
Daniela

Stayed here for 3 nights on a trip with colleagues for some R&R over a long weekend recently..... Felt more like a large guest house than a hotel with doors locked at night and a need to ring the bell to get back in late at night!

This place is around a 15 minute walk from the city centre with no views and a rather austere feel....rooms large but not that welcoming. Reception quite cold in attitude and the dining room is far from warm, engaging or anything else..... Adequate for purpose but only just!

Dear Tom,
thank you for your review regarding your recent stay.
The expectations look different for every guest and it disappoints the team and myself to read that we did not completely meet yours, as we clearly always strive towards being more than just average. We have just undergone extensive refurbishment few days ago to make our hotel even nicer so should you come our way again – please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly, ( hd@embassy.eahotels.cz)
so I can make sure we take extra good care of you. Kind regards, Daniela

We stayed here in June 2011 when our previous arrangements fell through. We only stayed two nights because they were booked for a big convention but would have gladly stayed a full week. They are well located about a 15-minute walk from Old Town Square, in a nice residential neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was pleasant and professional and the breakfast was very nice. I don't recall if there was a lift/elevator but many hotels in old towns do not have them. We stayed there when it was fairly warm but I remember our room being comfortable. We have paid far more for far less throughout Europe so I would say this hotel stands out as one of the better values. We would stay there again should we return to Prague.

Room Tip: Book directly with hotel if possible. Some have complained of being switched to another hotel when...

I booked this hotel on an offer from bookings.com paid approximately £62 a night whilst other sites were double or triple this!!!!! I certainly would have been very disappointed if I had paid more. Its advertised as 4* but I would say more like 3*. The room was very large but smelt of smoke, unfortunately we were not offered non smoking I don't think they offered it the bed was very comfortable with memory foam, but no tea / coffee making facility, the TV had all of 9 channels of which only 3 were English and they were the news channels. The bathroom was modern with underfloor heating but the shower was pretty poor and over the bath and felt like it would break at any point and the bath would not fill up the button to do so on the control didn't work. The towels were changed when you wanted them to be but fresh ones smelt of stale smoke. There was a list provided in the room that advised you what you would be charged if you broke or stained anything which was extortionate so I felt like I had to be very careful at all times, just in case. Breakfast was good several different cereals, meats, cheeses, lovely bread and eggs with either bacon or sausage, salads and cake. Staff were lovely and always polite and helpful. It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the old town square and the trams ran on the adjacent street to all areas of the city and the metro was only 5 minutes walk away it was very easy to get to from the airport you get the 100 bus to the metro line B and get off at Florenc and all for just £1.50 ish

EA Embassy Prague Hotel is is a truly magical place to stay and from beginning to end there is only perfection. This is a fantastic hotel, full of charm, centrally located in a quiet street so exploring all the beautiful city points on foot was easy.

Each member of staff I had the opportunity to meet were wonderful, front desk absolutely efficient, polite, well prepared and kind. The same goes for the cleaning ladies and the management who was able to address all my requests efficiently and in a very positive manner.
The hotel Director can certainly be proud of extremely friendly, creative and highly professional staff.

The hotel offers very comfortable, large rooms, stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean.

The breakfast was great with a good choice of food in a lovely environment.

All in all a perfect experience, I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel.

It was easy to miss the hotel; look up for the banner hanging down perpendicular to the hotel. The room and bathroom were very large. It was nice to have a hair dryer. No instructions for the AC/heat, so we very hot the first night (same with others in our group). Quite a few switches, and you have to keep flicking each to see what worked; it's another hotel requiring the room key in order to have lights. I would have preferred more light as the room seemed pretty dark even with all the lights on. The closet was huge, and we liked having a suitcase rack. Large window that opened (nice) - however view was either an abandoned building or in the process of remodel. Shower temp did not stay on hot for long - cold shower quickly. Pillow and bed pretty hard for my taste; however partner found both ok. Breakfast nice, and wait staff friendly; however, the female office staff were a little rude (perhaps because they were younger women). Laundry very expensive, and reception staff wanted to divide loads into individual loads even if a certain color had just one or two pieces (I understand wanting to avoid complaints - however, we already had to sign paperwork absolving the staff of all responsibility for the laundry before they received the laundry, so they wouldn't have been liable!). The location was very close to attractions although if you turn to the left after exiting the hotel, the area seemed very seedy, but other direction seemed nicer.
