“Nice surprise at Vysehrad”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

On our last day of sightseeing in Prague we decided to go to Vysehrad. After a trek up to the top of the ramparts & a look around St Peter & St Paul's Basilica (do not miss this if you are an art nouveau fan as the interior is stunning) I spotted a Veuve Cliquot advertisement in the cafe opposite the church entrance. Had a glass of my favourite ripple & a tuna salad which was tasty but was tinned rather than fresh. Good service. Would recommend if you are up there.

“Restaurant short walk from Corinthia Hotel”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Before our Viking cruise we walked around this area and stop here to have dinner.
It didn't look like the picture above. We sat in the courtyard area and had a nice dinner. My husband had fish which was very good and I had the Saltimbocca which was different from the entree in the U.S. It was good but liked my husband's fish better. The courtyard also has a more relaxed and casual menu. I noticed they also serve hamburgers . Our waiter recommended a Czech wine which turned out to be delightful. We finished our dinner with Tiramisu and apple strudel. The apple strudel was the best of our 2 week trip which included Germany. Our friends ordered the strudel and I tried to find a better one along the way without any success.

“lunch food average but little else in area”
Reviewed 5 January 2013

We visited Vysehrad church (well worth visting) and needed some food after, there is nothing else in the area so rio's was our choice. We had burger and pasta between us. The food is fine but unless you need to eat at the time go to another restaurant in town.

“Terrace, Sheltered Terrace and Restaurant”
Reviewed 6 December 2012

After the visit to the Cathedral it was really quite cold and windy, dashed in here to have coffee. Great reception and it was warm and sheltered in the covered terrace. Best Americano I have in Prague and reasonable priced @ 60Kr each.
We were invited to view the rest f the establishment which was quite luxurious, so marked the restaurant fr a visit if we return to Prague.
The whole visit to Vysehrad was memorable, do not miss it from your itinerary.
