As people said before, it's not in the city centre, but it's just 10 minutes away by tram or underground. The area is not so nice, but the hotel itself is a little gem. Very pleasant rooms (with one mind-twister: how to turn on the reading light? I had fun for about 15 minutes trying and was proud to find out), comfortable beds, very quiet. Excellent reception - I stayed there for a few times and they really let me feel I was a returning customer and very welcome. Good breakfast. Funny lady serving at breakfast - a bit like from the former communist era, not really speaking English and a bit despotic, but charming. The restaurant in the hotel is also good. I will stay there again when I come back to Prague.

Alwyn has very comfortable beds, liked its spacious rooms, well-kept interior and friendly staff. Breakfast was very much okay. I did not like the street in which this hotel was based, not a really well-kept street, but it was not far away from bus stops so it did not really matter. But I enjoyed stay very much, for the services and the hotel itself I'd definitely go back. But for the area.. maybe.

Room Tip: I think all of them are okay

Alwyn is a beautiful hotel for its price, with a welcoming and dedicated staff. The nearest tram stop is just around the corner, taking you directly to the Old Town.

Hotel Alwyn was a spacious and pretty hotel that fulfilled all our needs. Lovely bed and great breakfast (compliments to the breakfast staff!). The receptionists were welcoming and helped with all your questions. Nearest tram stop is right around the corner, and the tram will take you directly to the Old Town. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was also good, with a nice selection of dishes and wines. Recommended!

This hotel looks small on the outside but it's really very spacious and cosy inside the rooms. Due to overbooking we were upgraded for free to a deluxe room, which was a real pleasant start to our trip because the deluxe room we had had a terrace (not that there was much sunshine to enjoy in Prague) and was twice the size of a normal standard room.

Location is within 150m from the Florenc metro station with a supermarket Billa nearby, in a peaceful neighborhood. Sleep was perfect, no noise at all in the night, such a rarity in big cities like this. The beds were extremely comfy.

Breakfast was small but of good quality, there was a fitness room but walking around the cobbled streets of Prague all day, we had neither need nor desire of working out at the end of a long, cold and rainy day. Staff were amiable, kind and helpful.

A small thing, but I'm just nitpicking: Another waste basket in the room other than the tiny one in the bathroom would have been useful for us to throw away flyers, brochures, used tickets, empty bottles and stuff like that. And a little digital clock wouldn't have been out of place either.

Other than that, everything was perfect, really. A small hotel with a big heart and good quality.
