Personally, I found this hostel to be very good. It had a funky design, the common areas were a good size, along with the room we had-a double with a shared bathroom. Breakfast was ok, especially given it was included in the room price. There is no fruit offered at breakfast. Wifi worked well downstairs but not really in our room on the first floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the questions we had. Hostel is located on several main bus lines and the tram line is up the road a little bit. Both take you into the centre of Prague-old town square etc. The one negative to our time here was that my partner got eaten alive by mosquitoes or something similar during the night. Even when we had the lights on we couldn't see them anywhere, so don't know whether they were in the sheets or carpet or what. Funnily enough I was hardly touched.....weird! Made it slightly uncomfortable for my partner.

Really good little Hostel. Very reasonably prices. It's located in
Žižkov area of Prague, which does mean that it's a good half hour walk into the centre of Prague. It does mean, though, that the surrounding area is quite cheap.

We went in mid-May and, to be honest, it was disappointingly quiet. However, from other reviews it seems that may have had more to do with the time we visited.

Very helpful staff. Very cheap beer, served 24 hours a day. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed in a twin room with shared bath. Room was very basic and small. The bathroom and toilet is common for all rooms. Beer as welcome drink is free. And breakfast is also free. The staff is extremely friendly. We had to checkout early next morning, so they kept breakfast in common room by 7AM. The reception is open 24 hours.

My friends and I stayed at the Marabou hostel during our visit to Prague last month and overall it's a good little place. The room was nice and clean and there was a bathroom and shower room located directly outside, which was good, but only one shower for the dorm! so bit of a rush in the morning. The communal area was welcoming and relaxing with a downstairs area for using the internet, relaxing or smoking. While the hostel is located a little out of the way (it's quite a walk into town), there are buses directly outside that you can catch an it's a nice walk into the main town f you choose to walk, so not a problem. We stayed in a large mixed dorrm and also had a good night's sleep with no disturbances.
The staff working at hostel were very friendly and helpful. We needed help finding out train times and sorting out transport from the hostel back home and the staff were absolutely great and it's a 24 hour reception too.
We'd definitely stay at this hostel again next time we visit Prague! :)

Rooms and beds were huge and really clean, the whole place was very well looked after. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Small free breakfast. Good bar and communal areas, could have made more of it by organising events or something. Quite chilled out. In a bit of an annoying location as you had to get a bus for 15 mins out of the city, ok to walk during the day but not at night.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The dorm was very big and clean, the beds have a big locker each as well as a little shelf to put things like water, book, phone etc while you sleep. There is a full kitchen and big social area with sofas, table football, pool and free internet in the basement (smells a little bit funky but nothing you can't ignore). The staff are really friendly and helpful and you get a free beer when you arrive! Our dorm at least was big and everyone was really friendly, as were most people in the hostel generally.
It's a bit of a way out from the center but the bus stops right outside and comes frequently, you can be at Old Town Square in about 20 minutes. There are supermarkets nearby.
Overall a really nice place and great value for money!
