On arriving we got to choose our own seats and the waitress came straight over to supply us with menus. Service was very quick and no pressure was put on us to leave after we had finished our food. Most of the customers were locals which I always think of as being a good sign, so it's perfect if you need a little time apart from the crowds during busy periods.
Cafe Ebel does fantastic breakfasts for £6.70 (160Kc) per person. This includes a glass of orange or apple juice plus a tea, coffee or hot chocolate, a bagel with a selection of cheese and ham and a croissant with butter and jam. They have a large selection of cakes, pastries and drinks to choose from and their lunches are superb too with wonderful wraps!
The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, very relaxing and a little quirky; which we really enjoyed. I would describe it as somewhat Tuscan in style and it is a stones throw away from the main road which adds to the calm setting.
My favourite part was the great tasting food.
It is a shame that there is no outside seating; but the inside is airconditioned and has more character.
I would really recommend this cafe.
