This was our last night in Beautiful Prague so decided to eat here, we were staying at the sister Hotel The Alchymist Prague Castle Suites (an amazing place). When you see this Hotel it looks very luxurious you will not be disappointed when you walk inside the interior including the restaurant is very flamboyant but a lovely place to relax and enjoy a very good meal.

Apart from the Hotel looking amazing the restaurant was exceptional, we have eaten in some top class places around the world and this sits there with the best, both décor and cuisine. It was not a busy night for them, there were two other couples and a Birthday party of 5 people that was it; but the atmosphere was really good and I think we kept them busy enough.

There was a piano player who plays at our hotel and he was surprised when we turned up and he was great, we always looked forward to hearing him play each evening of our stay with a glass or two of wine.

The food here was exceptionally good, from our starters to the sweet and of course some wonderful wine and cocktails. The service was amazing extremely helpful when we were choosing our meal and wine, plus looking after us all the way through the evening, which was a long one. Thank you.

We had a great last night in Beautiful Prague thanks to the Aquarius Restaurant, nice food, wine, great service and some nice people having a Birthday celebration.

When we are in Prague again we will definitely have a meal here again, and so should you.

Enjoy Have Fun.

Elegant elongated room with chandeliers and gilt furnishings. Pianist unobtrusively playing. Excellent service from Maître D and Waiting staff. Onion soup in particular was exceptional if you like it thick and tasty! Lovely breads, good choice of Czech and International dishes and wines. Chocolates exceptional!! A real dining experience in Prague in a lovely secluded location yet close to all the main sites.

If you like unusual decor, this is the place for you. It is worth the trip just for this. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. The prices are high, but worth it for the experience. If isn't one of the top restaurants in Prague for food, but the overall experience is very good.

I took my visiting parents to this charming restaurant in Malá Strana for the second time as they loved it when we went there in January 2013. Happily little had changed. To those of you looking for an ultra hip dining experience, look elsewhere. This restaurant appears impervious to the vagaries of fashion. This isn't to say it is fustily backward looking, rather it works within its setting to create a haven of refined and relaxed opulence which feels embedded, not striven for. The only recommendation I would make to them is that, while having a live pianist is lovely they could be asked to just play and not sing and perhaps think about their choice of music. We didn’t need an extra voice in the conversation at our table and 60’s 70’s MOR seemed like a half-hearted nod to modernity that was missing by about four decades. When we went the restaurant wasn’t full so I can’t say how they would cope on a busy night, but for us the service was enthusiastic and timely without being over familiar or intrusive. But of course the main reason to go is for the food and I can definitely recommend that. The menu is wide enough to cater for those who want to try the Czech specialities (I would recommend the trout) and those who want an alternative. We all chose a mixture of both Czech and European dishes and we were all very happy with our choices.
