We ate here on our last day in Prague. It was a warm day so we sat on the riverside terrace, it was busy but still felt spacious. Staff were very attentive. We felt the prices were slightly higher than elsewhere in Prague, but to be honest the location and atmosphere makes up for it. My husband had the pork neck, which was very tender and I had the gnocchi, which was lovely but there was too much of it!! All in all, a lovely way to spend our last few hours

Some friends and I stopped here for lunch after wing attracted by the view on offer. It was a goo thing that it was so nice as the service was really slow and the food when it eventually arrived was decent but nothing I would be back in a rush to eat once again. If you find yourself near by then give it a try but I would not recommend going out your way to visit.

This restaurant is located near the end of the St Charles bridge on the old town side. It has outside seating and the best seats go fast, and the food is just average and not inexpensive and I felt the drinks were overpriced. But the view in the evening is great. I would suggest, get a beer or wine and a knack and watch the cruise boats and the sun go down, then find dinner elsewhere off the beaten tract as this is priced as a tourist spot. Just down the street on the promenade is a great spot to take night pictures across the river to the castle.

We came across this place when on one of our mega walks; it is right on the river next to the Charles Bridge (Old Town side). There are other restaurants in the same location and because the weather was so good (sun out) they had all the outside seating in place. It was busy and the seats/tables were in hot demand for the view of the river and bridge. Although the sun was out it was chilly, but wrap up plus they provided blankets.

We only had food here once on the two occasions we went, spiced sausages and bread with some mustard and chillies, we did share this as we were told the portions are big and they were. It was nice very tasty and washed down with of course Czech beer and why not. On both occasions it was to just rest like lots of other people and admire the view and take some pictures.

Worth a beer, enjoy have fun

We'd spotted this place whilst taking photos of Charles Bridge another day. I thought although a little pricey for drinks it would be a pleasant place to sit and have a late afternoon drink if the weather permitted, and watch the sun go down.
It was pretty busy to be fair, but we got a table near the edge and could see the bridge and castle beyond. Perfect, in the late afternoon sunshine. Blankets are also provided to take off the chill.
We sat and watched the sun light up the Charles Bridge and watched an array of boats all trying to turn in the small area of river down stream from the wier.
Service was pretty efficient. They were very busy and we didn't have to wait too long.
Price of a large beer was CZK 60 which is a lot. I normally walk away from anywhere for than CZK 50. It was all about the ambience on our last day!
