Perfect place! Lovely Staff! Just for a couple in love! A romantic trip could not be that way good, if our hotel (Royal Road) had not been in the heart of Prague... everything is so near! The room was very cosy, modern and very clean. I will recommend this place to my friends as it is worth paying, though the prices were average. We have loved the place since the first time we visited in 2010!

Room Tip: Ask for a window view to Karlova street and you will get into the flow of the tourist life!!!!

Just visited Prague for 4 days with a group of friends. What a beautiful city! And Royal Road was a great place to stay to really enjoy the city. The location is perfect and the building beautiful. The staff is really friendly even after we created some noise disturbance on the first night..
One disadvantage was the water pressure. Or the lack of it..
But I will definitly choose Poyal Road for a future visit!

i would defenitly recommend this place for several reasons -

1. its location is simply the best in prague. you cant get any more central than this.
2. the hotel is maintained in good conditions - the room was clean, neat, with new furniture and simple though up to date design.
3. the room was very spacious and we had all the space we needed.
4. the receptionists were very nice and helpful. they helped us with everything we needed and it was crucial for us in several cases.
5. concerning all these facts, the price is very very good.
6. the only dissapointment we had was noise coming in the morning from outside and from the dining room, which was next to our room.
7. this hotel is not for people who are looking to associate with other guests. it is though perfect for low and mid budget couples, friends and families.

I would fefenitly go back to this place next time in Prague and the hotel was a big part of my overall satisfied experience of the city.

we stayed 2 nights at the Royal Road Residences in November. The apartment we got was huge. Could have easily fit 8 people, but I stayed with only 1 other girl there. The apartment was clean. The location could not get better (in the middle of old town near Charles Bridge). The building is slightly run down.

The first night there was not great for us. The hot water did not work and the apartment was freezing. The lights in the hallway did not turn on at night so we stayed in because it was quite scary for us two girls to leave the apartment. We spoke to the front desk the next morning and they turned our water heater on, which heated up the shower and the apartment the second night. As well, the lights in the hallways turned on. Needless to say, the second night was significantly more enjoyable as a result.

Good apartment hotel at a good value, very good location near Charles Bridge. The only real issue was the small radiator, much too small to keep the room warm in chilly autumn weather and rather a strong draft coming in from under the balcony door. The friendly staff were surprised at that feedback and promised to improve it.
If you want to cook your own meals, there is a Tesco supermarket 10 minutes walk away.

We stayed at Royal Road for 2 nights last week and were quite pleased with the stay. The rooms/apartments are in an old building with a ton of character. Parts looked a little run down but it's part of the charm of staying in a location like this (and after living in Europe for two years now, this is nothing compared to what I've seen in other locations). The staff were very friendly upon check-in. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The beds were decently comfortable. Some new/fluffier pillows would be nice but what was offered worked well for our short stay. The hotel is just a few blocks from Old Town making everything accesible and easy to get to. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and they offered a nice selection of items. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague.

Boy were we in for a surprise with this one!

BRILLIANT location - TGIF and Haagen-Daz on the ground floor, Old Town 5 min walk away, Charles Bridge a 2 min walk - we were right at the heart!

Zero issues with check in - in fact we reached 4 hrs before the checkin time and the people at the reception gave us the keys to our apartment in advance - something which is really appreciated when you get off a 15 hr flight!

Apartment - on the 4th floor with a pool table in our living room! Yay! Spectacular view from our balcony, very spacious and clean apartment. Extra brownie points for the tub in the bathroom :)

Highly recommended. Go for this one with your eyes shut!

Room Tip: Let the people know beforehand on what kind of a trip this will be and what you expect out of it! We...
