The Mark is a nice hotel with a very modern interior. Rooms are suites. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with lots of organic offerings and homemade pastries, jams local yogurts and made to order omelette yummy. Everything was very clean and neat. People and service very good

We arrived at the hotel in the morning and had requested for a King bed with complimentary early check in (subject to availability). When we got to the hotel, the room was not ready so we decided to go walk around the area and come back in an hour or so. Got back and were handed the room keycards. Got to the room and it was literally 2 beds joined together with 2 separate mattresses. Called down to complain that we had specified a king bed and was told that it was a king bed! Seriously? After some argument and being told to wait again, we were finally given a nice room with a king bed and a balcony. If it wasn't for the need to argue with the Reception, this hotel would have received an excellent rating.

The room was a good size. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The bath tub was ridiculously high and climbing in and out was an acrobatic act. Use the non-slip mat that's provided or you could end up slipping when getting out! I think some rooms have a shower cubicle so that would be much nicer.

The food at the restaurant (a la carte) was excellent and the breakfast selection was very good. They even have a small section for organic items. Loved the churned butter that was made in-house.

The concierge was helpful and knowledgeable.

Location is excellent as it's within walking distance to the Old Town Square.

Room Tip: During the summer, try to get a room with a balcony so you can sit out rather than in the room.

I booked 2 nights in the Mark Luxury Hotel for my boyfriends birthday - due to the previous reviews I had read and the images on the internet.

As it was a surprise for my boyfriend, I contacted the hotel directly to discuss special requirements upon my arrival, plus information during my time in Prague. Nikola, who I had been in contact with for a number of months, could have not provided better service - she was fantastic and ensured my requirements were met upon my arrival.

We were greeted at the car where the porter stored our luggage (our flight arrived earlier than check in - however this was not a problem as they stored the bags with no problem free of charge) and was escorted to reception. We were given two free arrival drinks which we were welcome to enjoy in the garden area. We were also upgraded to the Deluxe Suite free of charge, as the hotel name has been changed since our booking.

Once we had our room keys, we were taken to our room - which was spectacular. We had a kitchen and living area, a mini bar full of every drink imaginable, along with rose petals on the bed and matching his and hers bath robes.

Once we were settled in our room, the hotel staff arrived with a birthday cake for my boyfriend, which gave our visit a personal touch.

On a daily basis the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helped us with anything we needed, including directions.

I had also booked 2 massage treatments through the concierge, who booked our treatments for us at their sister spa, which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Our stay at the Marks was outstanding - from our arrival to our departure. A hotel that I cannot recommend enough to everyone I speak to.

Great hotel, great staff and an even greater experience.

Thank you!

The Mark Hotel is a perfect option for Prague. The rooms are great - new and huge. Breakfast is wonderful - an excellent buffet with many options to choose from. Service is impeccable, everyone at the hotel is very polite and helpful. I booked their house car for pick up and drop off at airport, and it was flawless - very professional driver and a brand new Mercedes S Class. The location of this hotel is perfect. For a sightseeing day, I would suggest asking for the hotel to call you a taxi, and have the taxi drop you off at the Prague Castle. From there, you can walk your way back to the hotel visiting many landmarks - Charles Bridge, Churches, Astronomical Clock, etc. It is a beautiful walk. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed three nights and we're pleasantly surprised. After an initial snafu over our room we were quickly shown an alternative suite which turned out to be perfect. Great bar, and a good restaurant complete the experience

The hotel is excellent - great location and a gorgeous, well-appointed room. What's missing is the people element. "Factual efficiency" is a nice way of saying "lacking warmth and engagement". As guests, we felt that we had to heave the hospitality out of them. Even then, we didn't exactly feel overly welcome.
However, summer weather in Prague is well spent by staying in this location and at this hotel. Away from the throngs of tourists, but only just. Just a short walk puts you in the thick of it

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in July. It is a beautiful and stylish hotel. The room we had was on the sixth floor with a great balcony overlooking Hybernska. The decor of the room was beautiful and relaxing. It definitely does not feel like your stock standard hotel room. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows and duvets.
The hotel is very centrally located and you can walk to just about anywhere in Prague. We did not eat at the hotel but enjoyed a lovely glass of champagne in the courtyard. The free wifi in the hotel was really good.
We would happily stay here again and recommend it highly to anyone going to Prague.
