Staying on Kampa Island we found this little Italian restaurant on our first night in Prague and enjoyed a Caparese salad and pizza which were both very good and just what we needed after all the airline food. The wine selection was good and our server most helpful. However, on another evening when we had a group of 10, it was a disaster !! Unfortunately, I think we had a new server who was over whelmed with our large group and consequently our orders were boggled and our final check was not broken down as requested which caused a fiasco ... finally it was settled and all were happy. Warning: don't go with a big group, but as a couple or two the experience was GREAT !!

A little pricey, but homemade. Large portions of lasagna and tortellini. Location near the Charles Bridge is nice.

Great value Italian restaurant, not fussy and authentic tasting menu - you can eat quickly or stay longer - great for a city break like our trip was.

We really fancied a Lasagne and this is what we ordered. It took a while but was worth the wait. If this wasn't cooked from scratch on the premises I would be very surprised - it was excellent.

...then you'll love overpaying for bad food here. It's a total tourist trap. I had ravioli, my friend had spaghetti, both in tomato sauce with basil. It's almost hard to get that wrong, but they managed. The food was barely warm, the pasta clearly not made there, and I've bought better sauce in the grocery store. To top it all off, the check had an extra charge for "Parmesan cheese, salt, oil, etc." that according to the waiter all Italian restaurants charge. Here's the thing: 1) this isn't Italy, is it legal to impose random charges on customers, without advance warning, in Prague??, and 2) I've been to Italy and Italian restaurants in several countries and I've never seen this. Sad little place...
