The staff is terrific, the apartments comfortable, clean and bright. Unless you really need a view of the river this is a great place to stay. The restaurants has really good food and service. After two weeks it was hard to leave.

My husband and I leave Prague tomorrow, after a wonderful 15 days here at the Hunger Wall. This was our first visit to Prague, and especially after getting to know the city and its neighborhoods, we couldn't be happier with our choice.

Location: the best! The vast majority of Prague's huge crush of tourists spend their time between the Castle, the Square and the Charles Bridge. We were away from all that, but just a block from the Bridge of Legions (which is the next bridge south), and an easy walk to the Charles Bridge etc. Plus, a tram stop right on the corner, making the whole city convenient to you. An attractive neighborhood with stately architecture. My sister came to visit and stayed at the Four Seasons... we were much better located in our opinion!

Dining: the Cafe Lounge downstairs is lovely, great food, comfortable, casual vibe. Popular with locals. We ate breakfast there almost daily, and lunch a few times as well. And you can sign meals to your apartment if you like. There are also a handful of restaurants and pubs ranging from good to quite excellent within a block or two. (Don't miss the Cafe Savoy!) Again, the neighborhood is vibrant but a local crowd; wait staff spoke good English but we rarely noticed English speaking customers.

The flat: our unit was #33, on the 3rd floor (4th to my fellow Americans.) The apartment, common areas, elevator etc were all immaculate, tastefully decorated and in good working order. Comfy bed. Great quality double windows; although late night noise was not prevalent in this neighborhood, the windows insulate very well if you're sensitive. There is no air conditioning here, but we stayed end of July-beginning of August and didn't miss it. High ceilings and four big windows for plenty of fresh air. Daily maid service was nice. Note: we had no kind of gourmet kitchen. If you want to cook elaborate gourmet meals, you need to look elsewhere. Small but functional appliances, but no toaster and just a tiny counter space. That said, all the necessities to prepare a basic breakfast or plate of munchies. Washer and dryer in the flat. Sadly no stereo system to plug in an iPod. There's a TV and DVD player, which we never used, but music would have been nice. (We just used a laptop.)
Wifi was included, was fast and reliable.

Staff: Kamil, whom I worked with primarily, and Karolina, were pleasant, professional and responsive. Very easy to work with via e-mail from the States, and quite helpful during our visit as well.

We highly recommend the Hunger Wall Residence. A very good value, too. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

My husband, myself and adult daughter stayed in these apartments for five nights. They are in an convenient location within walking distance to the Prague Castle and major tourist sights. These apartments are beautifully appointed with comfortable, stylish furniture. The master bedroom had a comfortable king size bed, our daughter slept on a folding bed in the living area. The kitchenette is small but adequate for preparing meals. The hotel cafe serves an excellent breakfast, and I would agree with other reviewers that they serve the best coffee in town....

The Hunger Wall Residence is an excellent place to stay and enjoy your time in Prague. It's close and yet not in the middle of all the tourist areas and the facility is lovely. The garden is such a nice place to start the day and the service was excellent. The team working there were consistently supportive and sincere in every interaction. Thank you!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back overlooking the garden patio

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hunger Wall apartments during our very first visit to Prague. We had booked from New Zealand knowing little about Prague or the accommodation on offer. The Hunger Wall apartments were perfect for us in every respect; spacious, modern, clean, well equipped, extremely well situated and backed up by excellent service. We were also made to feel most welcome. The cafe on the ground floor is first class. We found the apartments to be the ideal place to unwind after a busy day sight-seeing in the city. We can highly recommend the apartments to anyone planning a trip to this most beautiful city.

Lovely, clean apartments. In quiet, less expensive area of Prague but within easy distance by tram or walking to all parts of the city. Free and fast wi fi internet. A few bars and restaurants nearby - all reasonably priced compared to the touristy part of Prague. Staff are courteous, professional and friendly. Good breakfast in cafe which is part of the hotel. Also serves snacks during the day and evening. If I ever go back to Prague (which is unlikely because it has become very expensive and touristy) then I would definitely stay at this accommodation.

I looooooooooooooved the place sooooo much!!
Definitely exceeds the expectation! The room is very spacious and furnitures and interior are very very nice. Staff members were so kind and helpful, the location was not too far from major attractions at all. Also, tram station is very close by. The restaurants around the hotel are very nice but I would have to say that Cafe Lounge, which is a restaurant located in Hunger Wall Residence was the best place we've been in Prague. Breakfast is lovely, enjoyed coffee, smoothie as well as other dishes. We've also been to lunch and dinner during our two-night stay (cause we loved it so much) and enjoyed the food and the place every time. Can't complement enough, would come back to Prague just for Hunger Wall Residence!
