We are just back from Prague --- stayed at Hunger Wall and have nothing bad to say about it --- room was huge, spotless clean, very comfortable. Towels were changed every day. Breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel that includes breakfast in the price. The staff were so good. Attention to detail all the way. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and will stay here again. Fabulous!!!

Many people have already extolled the value of Hunger Wall Residence for the value, cleaniness of their apartments, convenience to the city, luxury and excellence of the breakfast menu. I would like to applaud Cafe Lounge for their extravagant coffee menu. This is the wonderful Cafe attached to the Hunger Wall hotel apartments where we enjoyed superbly prepared well presented breakfasts every day. They were honored with best Cafe in Prague 2011.

The extensive coffee menu included several tantalizing ways to prepare coffee. Our favorite was the glass heated reverse coffee maker. Brought to the table, our waiter carefully explained the history and process of this coffeemaker. The burner at the bottom heats the water which rises to the top glass holder. At that point freshly ground coffee is pored in and carefully stirred to draw out all the flavor of the coffee. Minutes later when the burner is removed the change of temperature forces the coffee to drop back down through a filter. The clear and very tasty coffee is then served from the bottom glass container.

If you are a coffee lover, staying here in the luxury rooms, coming down to freshly squeezed orange juice accompanying delightfully prepared breakfasts, and then choosing a different coffee every day is truly a pleasure. By the way, all this is included in the price of the room.

Book early for dinner in the Cafe Lounge since it is a small place. They had live jazz on Friday with dinner. Try the cabbage salad which is light, tasty, plentiful and served in a bowl lined with delicate ruffled greens. It is only seen on the lunch menu but they will prepare it for supper if you ask for it. Also half the price of the other salads.

Most restaurants served the same meal at lunch time but the price would be 50% less. A very nice lunch can be had at the cafe on the ground floor of the Kotva Mall in old town. Tasty sandwiches with a nice choice of sweet cakes and a cup of tea rounds out a shopping trip in a massive mall where you WILL find something interesting.

Room Tip: Call ahead and the hotel will send a car to the airport for you. The 22Pound cost is well worth the...

Delish breakfast, close to tourist center but not too close, a couple of decent restaurants/bars nearby, tons of space. Loved it.

We spent a few days last December at the Hunter Wall Residence. Ever since our daugther was born we've been staying at apartments as often as possible when traveling because it's jst more practical, and I was glad to have found such a wonderful place to stay in Prague. Location is excellent, close to all the main attractions, but on a quiet neighborhood. We had a one bedroom apartment with a large living room and kitchenette, with more than enough space for our baby to run around. The kitchenette had all the basic utilities, and the apartment even included a very efficient washer/dryer which was very useful. The Café downstairs was amazing, we had lunch there the first day and it was delicious and very reasonaly priced. Breakfast is included and à la carte, you can order anything from the menu, and the service is faultless. On our last day we had to leave quite early to catch a train and they even offered to send our breakfast up to the apartment which was perfect. Nearby (close to the bridge, in one of the the corners) there's a handy small organic supermarket which we used to buy milk for our daughter, and even some really good goulash soup on a rainy evening when we didn't feel like eating out. One tip: our hostess Theresa mentioned that next time it would be cheaper to contact them directly instead of making a reservation through booking.com

No, the Hunger Wall isn't for travelers on a tight budget but is definitely worth your money. The area where Hunger Wall is situated is really perfect. Not in the middle of the tourist centre but not too far from it either.

The room has everything you need and is nicely decorated. Breakfast and owner are really nice and helpful.

We spent a week at Hunger Wall over Christmas, with our toddler.
The apartment was great - everything you need when travelling with a baby - small kitchen, cot, washing machine etc. Very comfortable.
Upon arrival (a very weary one) we were greeted warmly by Theresa who maintained her wonderful demeanour throughout our stay.
Breakfasts were fantastic, awesome coffee and we had room service dinners a few nights which were also the best food and value we had in Europe.
I kept thinking that maybe there was a catch and when we got our bill it was going to be doubled with hidden extras - no, it was one of the best valued places we have ever stayed.
We just wish we didn't have to leave.

Room Tip: The TV does have English channels, we found about 1200 different channels after searching.

Stayed here back in May 2011. Lovely place and rooms are amazing. Great cafe downstairs as part of the hotel were you get breakfast - easy to see why it is voted one of the best cafe's in prague.

Staff were very helpful and informative and friendly.

Nice location too and if you like walking everything is in walking distance of about 15/ 20 mins. If not taxi's are quite cheap but just be careful as some can take you round the houses and charge you a fortune for something that didn't cost as much the day before.
