“Wonderful Prague home”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

Just came back from a week in Prague at the Hunger Wall Residence. There are no words to describe this place ... wonderful host Karolina, excellent location, beautifully restored building, luxurious flat, tastefully decorated and appointed ..... walking distance to everywhere, lots of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. We didn't want to leave this place and if possible, would have stayed forever :) Now counting the days till our return to Prague, which without a doubt, will be soon and will always be at Hunger Wall Residence. Děkuji a nashledanou Karolina, Hunger Wall and Praha!

A four-night stay in order to see the sights. Not exactly city centre but close with easy, inexpensive and fast tram transport to all of the main attractions.
Suites were very well appointed and the reception staff extremely helpful. The "cafe" attached to the suites was also excellent with a higher standard of cuisine than the many other, larger restaurants within walking distance, and at a very reasonable price.

I lived here until 2013. It is excellent. Beautiful accommodation, well run, friendly. Nowhere else comes close. The serviced apartments come fully equipped including dish washer and a Hyatt standard bed. The location is Mala Strana, which is basically like the Mayfair of Prague.

We just stayed at the Hunger Wall, and both the service and the room were awesome. Big, spacious, quiet and well equipped rooms made our stay a real pleasure.

The location is also very good, just half block away from the tram.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We recently returned from Prague for the Valentine weekend and I agree the name of the accommodation does not do this place justice. What an absolute gem! Super clean, quiet and in a very ideal location with ease to both the airport and city centre. It holds so much history although it has all the mod cons so you basically like you at home away from home. The manager was absolutely helpful, she organised for us to be picked up and dropped off to the airport for a small fee.. Trust me, the chauffer ride was well worth it, makes you feel like superstars!!
I must recommend the restaurant down stairs for meals, you are woken up to the smell of lovely food. oh yum! But be careful Sunday Brunch can be quite busy so would advise booking in advance as it quite a popular café even with the local.

Room Tip: Our room was pretty quite as the area is pretty much residential.

The name of this accomodation doesn't sound super sexy so it didn't pull me in immediately (we later learned that it carries historic significance) but upon reading the reviews and seeing the pictures and location on the map I was convinced. Karolina, the hotel manager was super friendly, helpful and flexible in letting us check in early and leave late. There was a small gift waiting for us in the room. Location was perfect, off the beaten path and away from tourist crowds but close to Old Town, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and even Vysehrad. Cafe Lounge on the ground floor served some great breakfasts. Recommend 100%.
