The staff was nice and always friendly.
The room was cozy and well furnished. It had a TV, but it did not work. I paid for this room very little, though, so I don't feel like I can complain too much. The bathroom was very clean and so was the shower. Spotless room, in a couple of words. Not too warm either.
However, the breakfast selection was quite poor. For example, there were no scrambled eggs, something which I would always expect in a hotel. But it wasn't too bad either. It just needs a bit of improvement.

The location of this hotel was great, and I had a pleasant experience, so I would come here again and would highly suggest it to who wants a good hotel room/experience in central Prague while not spending too much.

Stayed for 5 nights, Feb-March 2014.

Receptionist was fairly helpful but there is a £25 deposit per person,

Our room was great, lots of room, clean and beds were comfy. The rooms only downfall was the smell of damp from the bathroom and it affected the whole room. Maid was in everyday, although it was between 9-10 so quite early

Breakfast wasnt great and milk was dodgy.

Great location, 5 minute walk from old town square.

Would stay again

Room Tip: Try and stay on the higher floors

This hotel looks ugly from the front. It shares the reception area with a sports centre and is not welcoming. The first thing we noticed in the room was a horrible 'drain like' smell. Think it came from shower. The shower was not ideal, the shower head had to be held by hand. A kettle and cups were provided but no coffee, tea or sugar. Also nowhere to plug kettle in! We had to unplug tv or one of bedside lamps (one of which didn't work anyway). The room itself was clean and the bed was ok. The towels provided were very thin, I have thicker tea towels at home! Regardless of how all this must sound, I am not a fussy person but this is easily the worst hotel I have stayed in. In my opinion it doesn't make the grade of a 3 star and can best be described as 'almost adequate'. If you are going to prague, choose other accommodation!

I'll start with the positives (not that there's many). The hotel is very close to the centre and was very clean. Also the man at check-in was very nice, friendly and helpful. Now for the negatives: the hotel is located inside a sport facility which doesn't leave a good first impression at all, the safe in the room didn't work, they provide a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee and no available socket except the one in the bathroom!, bulbs blown in the bedside lamps, curtains hanging off the rail, impossible to regulate shower temperature and the shower head has to be manually held as it just pointed at the wall when attached to the holster, and just to top everything off the room smelled of damp. Booked through super breaks and was very disappointed - won't be back and won't book with super breaks again!

Only giving it poor because most hotels that I would call "average" are slightly a step above. But I will say this, the hotel room was large and clean and offered just what we were looking for: A clean place to sleep, in the historic district and CHEAP. We paid $130 USD for 2 nights - I knew what we were getting and it wasn't bad at all.

We did not partake in the breakfast but I assume it would be average too. The hotel is a bit all over on the colors and the TVs only had like 3 channels but really if that is worst - then not too bad. Really is a good deal if you don't want to stay in a hostel but don't want to pay an arm in a leg for an average hotel.

Our room had wi-fi and didn't have to pay extra for it which is nice.

Only thing that is misleading is the Sauna - they don't really have one. There is a private gym separate from the hotel and I think you can pay extra for it.

Anyway - if you are looking for a cheap, private hotel - you will find that here. No frills.

Room Tip: Make sure to indicate Smoking or Non-Smoking rooms.

Stayed as a family for 3 nights. On the edge of the old town and not too far to walk to the main square. Also a short walk to the river. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, taxi travel is cheap if you want to go further afield. Staff at the hotel are all friendly and helpful. Plenty of food for breakfast from western (cereals etc) through to the normal European style of meats and cheeses. Quite a pleasant stay.
