This apartment was well appointed and had every amenity you could ask for. Everything was within walking distance but it was also centrally located to public transportation. Magnus is an excellent host who was completely accessible and very helpful with his local knowledge. We are already talking about a trip to Budapest and we will definitely stay at his place.
If I could, I would give 10 stars for this apartment. It is spacious and beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. The pictures don’t do justice of the place.
The bedroom - beds are very comfortable with high quality mattresses, blankets and pillows. The apartment exceeded my expectations in so many ways. It has a separate supply room full of towels, extra bedding, toiletries, etc. There was a welcome bottle of champagne and chocolates in the fridge. Numerous voltage charge converters were available for our use. Magnus prepared a special guest book that has detailed descriptions of all the amenities in the apartment: cable TV’s, Netflix, Apple TV, projector TV, two washing machines and a dryer, etc. Recommendations of places to visit and different restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was “U Kroka”.
We stayed for a week and didn’t even get a chance to use all the wonderful things offered in the apartment.
I will recommend this place to my friends and relatives. It is located in a beautiful and quiet area, near the famous Dancing House.
First time visiting Prague, my family and I stayed in this apartment for a week with our two children (ages 8 &10). The apartment was spacious, fully furnished (e.g. pillows, blankets, towels, plates, bowls, glasses, etc.). Everything was thought through for us and we had a great stay in the apartment. The apartment is located in an older building on the 4th floor and there is an elevator in the building. The house has cable, wifi, netflix, apple tv with multiple screens (two tvs and a projector). Magnus and Sofia were both great hosts, made themselves available for any questions during our stay.
The location is on a quiet street and there are a couple of restaurants very close to the apartment. Very close proximity to the Dancing House. Overall, Prague is a very walkable city and has a good public transportation system. We walked many places, the old town center is about a 15 min walk from the apartment, there is a metro stop about 5 min walk and multiple tram stops nearby.
Overall, we would recommend the apartment to our friends and family.
Thank you, Magnus and Sofia, for an amazing stay in Prague!
Magnus has taken great effort and pride to provide the most up-to-date appliances and technology while keeping some amazing original art nouveau architectural touches in the flat. I kept pinching myself that I was staying in such a beautiful and historic property.
We had fun playing with the projector and large TV screen and the “space age” Bluetooth speaker. We had reliable and strong Wi-Fi throughout the flat and access to Netflix and other apps on the Apple TV.
The kitchen was immaculate and had every modern convenience you could want. There’s a nearby Billa supermarket with everything you need. And, if you don’t want to cook, there are restaurants, cafes and pubs on your doorstep.
And after a long day walking all over the city, the beds were incredibly comfortable!
All in all, we had an amazing stay. Magnus and Sofia went out of their way to meet our needs and schedule. I highly recommend this flat for your Prague adventure!
Amazing luxury apartment with everything one could need. So organised and clean , very comfy beds and wow factor amenities, very stylish. Eddie particularly loved the Harman Kardon speaker, Amy loved watching a film on the projector after a day of sightseeing. The complementary ' Granko' hot chocolate didn't go unnoticed by her either!
Location excellent for all sights , everything can be done on foot if wish.
Magnus' recommendations for restaurants were spot on, we particularly loved the U Kroka, The Dancing House and San Carlos for pizza and Matylda boat Italian restaurant.
Would highly recommend the apartment and would love to stay at any of his other rentals . Maybe Budapest next time!
Thank you for your hospitality and please thank Monika for her friendly welcome.
We rented this apartment to visit Prague to see one of my favourite bands play a rare one-off show. Magnus (owner) was super-friendly, met us on arrival and gave us a lot of useful tips about Prague and places to eat - he's definitely a details guy as his fantastic guide shows. While not in the centre of the city, the apartment is well located near a Metro station and a 5 minute walk to a tram stop - although most of the centre of Prague is a 15-20 minute walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet and we barely heard any noise from the other apartments, or the street - this was in November so we didn't need the windows open, but I can't imagine it's bad in the summer. The apartment is warm, clean and very tastefully decorated with great facilities, including two bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen with all mod cons and a projector, TV and bluetooth speaker - great for kicking back after pounding the streets. We'd go back in a heartbeat, and I reckon you should too.
This apartment really does have it all right down to guest slippers !! It is a mixture of modern sleek furniture & fittings (mostly Swedish) whilst retaining the original period doors, dado rails etc of a bygone era. Everything went smoothly with the booking & an airport shuttle was organised who was in contact with the letting agent so she was there to meet us on arrival. The apt is 15 mins walk along the river from the Charles Bridge so away from the hustle & bustle on a night but still surrounded by some lovely little bars & restaurants with both tram & underground close by. An ideal city break for two adult couples was had by all, thanks again Magnus & Zolbi.
