“Fantastic Hotel”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

Lovely central location, everything you could possibly want to see is within walking distance from here. We got upgraded to a suite on check in, huge room, amazing shower and wonderfully comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly polite and spoke near perfect English. No problem storing bags on our last day when out flight was not until later that evening. The breakfast was included in the room price and had a good selection of continental fare. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel had recently been renovated and the reception, room and breakfast restaurant were really good. The room itself was one the standard ones, really nice and big with big bed (well actually 2 singles with a big sheet) but comfortable in the extreme. The only downside was the shower fitting wasn't great but that's a minor thing. Location in old town was ideal. The breakfast was really nice too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We stayed here for 4 nights in late October 2013. The hotel is well located within a close walk of the Old Town Square and of many excellent restaurants and bars. The Namesti Republiky metro station (and it's modern shopping mall that is quite convenient if you need a quick fix of Starbucks or KFC) is very close, and the central train station is only a 10-15 minute walk away.

The hotel is clean and contemporary. Our room was on the 5th floor in the attic with attractive wooden beams, a high ceiling, and skylights. The room was large with an open-plan modern bathroom that included a large walk-in shower. The toilet was in a separate small room on the opposite side of the room from the bathroom.

Our only complaint, which is quite minor, is that - like many modern hotels - the air conditioning only ran as long as we were in the room and the card key was in the key holder. So, after a long day of being tourists we would come back to the room and it would be warm and take a long time to cool down - and that was in October. Also, the hotel lobby and restaurant, while perfectly fine, were usually empty and not anywhere that you would want to spend much time.

The staff were pleasant - though we didn't have much interaction with them except to check-in and check-out. We did't pay for the breakfast, so I can't advise on that. .

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel to friends, but at the same time I'd be happy to stay here again. It's not that I didn't like the hotel, I just didn't love it. It was perfectly fine - just not amazing. I would probably recommend to friends that they try to find a hotel in Mala Strana, much closer to the castle. Mala Strana felt more quaint and pleasant than where this hotel is located.

Location is excellent, just 2 blocks to the Old Town Square , and within walking distance to all Prague attractions ! breakfast was very good, room very nice and large ! although it is not astonishing , it is very fancy and confortable ! I really recommend this hotel !

We visited Prague for the first time, three girls age 25-30. The hotel location in the old town was a perfect place to live - walking distance to all sightseeing, nice nightlife with concerts and dining. And the hotel was clean had great service and a friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Prague.

This hotel is perfectly positioned in the old town. It is a beautiful building but a lot of the character has been lost inside. Our room was a deluxe junior suite and was great. The living room was vast with sofa ,2 armchairs, dining table and sideboard. My only criticism was it did not have enough lighting. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and choice of pillows. A great bathroom with double sink, bath and separate shower. The drawback was the toilet as this was through the living room and down a corridor ,not ideal when you need to visit in the night! The reason I have only awarded 4 stars is due to the very poor breakfast. The room was barely large enough and felt more like a café than a luxury hotel. The sausages were hot dogs and the bacon preformed meat. Items were not refilled towards 10am.Parking is valet and costs 30 euros a day ,worth it as parking is difficult in Prague.

We were very happy with this hotel during our stay in Prague. The location is perfect, just a short distance to the old town square, restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, modern and well appointed. Will definitely stay here again.
