We just returned from a week in Prague, which included a full day of wine tasting in Bohemia. Andrea, our guide for the day, was not only extremely knowledgeable about wine, but also about the history of wine growing in the Bohemia region. The tour included stops at three wineries, each unique in its own way, as well as lunch at one of them. It was a great way to spend the day!

On our recent trip to Prague, we had just the greatest experience learning about and tasting Czech wines with Andrea. If you are lucky enough to book this wine tour, you will be both educated and charmed by Andrea whose knowledge is very extensive from her years of study. On a beautiful late summer day in Prague, we visited wineries within the city with fantastic views, gardens and architecture. Czech wines are generally not available in the United States but when they are, we will be ambassadors for them and for the lovely Czech Republic.

We went on a tour with Isabelle, wine was at the core of it and she's super knowledgeable and loves to share her passion. And we also went biking accross the Moravian vineyards to enjoy fully this such pleasant region

We were unable to take the full Moravia tour but Andrea made up for this with a highly informative tour to two vineyards within the Prague City limits. Surprising to say the least
The visit to the St Clara vineyard which is part of the Botanical Gardens and overlooking the zoo was an eyeopener. The trail from the small but scrupulously clean cellar to the Vintner's House takes you through all the varieties of grapes grown within the Czech Republic. An amazing number which you can sample grape by grape. The vines are grown without trestles but on poles as Czech tradition dictates.
At the Vintner's House there are a number of different wines styles; for those that like a dry white wine I would recommend the blend of Sauvignon, Muskat and Riesling.
Andrea was a passionate and personable host with a deep knowledge of Czech wine and national history. This is the second year of her wine tour business; we wish her the very best for her future endeavours. Next time her Moravian tour.

We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide, Andrea, was amazing! At the first vineyard, we enjoyed a champagne toast as we took in the amazing views and learned about the history of the vineyard and wine making in the Czech Republic. We then set off for our second vineyard/winery where we took in more beautiful views, ate grapes off the vine, and got to see the wine production first hand. We got to sample 5 different wines, which were delicious! Andrea drove us back to our apartment and told us lots of interesting facts about Prague and suggested a few restaurants for us to try. She was knowledgeable, personable and fun! We felt like we made a new friend in Prague!
