“An Exceptional Experience”
Reviewed 11 August 2009

We spent a weekend at the Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague, which is one of my favourite hotels. It’s so cosy, unique and beautiful. Hotel staff is really very friendly and professional. A food in the restaurant was terrific with a good choice, everything was organic which we appreciated so much. I was really made to feel an exotic comfort there. Rooms were clean, elegantly furnished and always prepared with chocolate, weather forecast and also little snack. We could make coffee anytime as in the room was Nesspresso machine. The bed was very comfortable and huge. The bathroom was luxurious and spotless. One night we went to Buddha Bar which is a part of a hotel. Music was very relaxing. Bar was built in an oriental style. Every table welcomed us with crackers. Hotel is situated in a great location in the centre of town. Prague is a beautiful place with so many things to visit and see. We had a wonderful time in Buddha-Bar Hotel, this hotel is definitely worth to stay. It is like a special treat I would recommend it without doubt.

The Buddha Bar Hotel is a great place to spend a few days. For lovers of the Buddha Bar concept this is simple a wonderful property to stay at. The staff could not have been more attentive, more caring and have been ever so helpful. The restaurant is excellent and with the sound of Buddha bar music this is simply bliss. Food was very tasty with a large selection and a great drinks menu.

The hotel rooms are spacious, ueber-designed and equipped with very comfortable beds. Everything is at hand and the best is the TV and surround sound system, all Buddha Bar music is uploaded into the TV system and there is life streaming from the Siddharta Cafe during the day and from the Buddha Bar and Restaurant in the evening.

Located in the middle of the city the hotel is the perfect venue for easy walks into the various parts of this fascinating city. If you go to Prague, chose Buddha Bar Hotel, the perfect property if you are after a carefree, relaxed and pampared stay.

they say it's not an hotel it's a lifestyle. indeed the place has its own identity, you immediately recognize the buddha bar experience.
more than that luxury and comfort is everywhere.
a last word on the staff. friendly and welcoming the staff at the reception and at the hotel bar was really fantastic, and it gave us that warmth that often is missing in luxury places.

I spent one georgeous weekend in Buddha Bar Hotel Prague with my partner. I usually never wright any comments nor any reviews however this experience was so strong that I just had to share my excitement about this hotel. Great location, very nice staff - especialy at the reception, lots of little extras you would not expect which makes you feel VIP. And the room itself. Oh my goodness! Unique design, great brands, comfortable beds and high tech everywere, even at the toilet.
This is a kind of hotel you just have to see and experience it. I will remember this stay till the end of my life and I would definitely love to stay there ones again!

Stayed here with my girlfriend during the w/e.

Centrally-located. Staromestkaya square is just 5 minutes by foot, the main casual shopping street (w/ cinema) 5 minutes as well as the luxury shop street . Karlov brigde is around 15m by foot.

Hotel is brand new and nicely decorated.

Once you check you are offer a free alco/non-alco coctail and snacks everyday.

The room is just fantactic (especially in the evenings). Very big king bed, seperate shower with tub, seperate toilet.

B&O tv, electronic drapes on the window, cute telephones, free internet, plenty of space for clothes and in the room, great mini-bar (with two bottles of evian free of charge a day) and free nespresso equipment.

A pillow menu is available. In the evening the bed is prepared for your night with nice chocolate and 3-day weather forecast.

Umbrellas are available at the front-end.

We had a rate w/ breakfat. Breakfast is served at Siddha cafe (which is in the building as well). Just fantastic. Very tasty (you choose stuff from the menu - omlettes/pancakes/fruits/cheese/ham/bread/juices or order all together ;))

On the negative side - (i) the cleaning in the rooms should be done better (there are some stains on the walls and the doors), though not crucial as maid comes twice a day to clean up the room; and (ii) the prices for stay are very high (from 400 euro per night).

The hotel also has a buddha bar/restaraunt where you can grab a drink or dinner at nights. Nice cocktails there.

I would also note that there is no swimming pool and no seperate SPA (they are doing massages in your room or in one of the transferred hotels rooms, however, it is not finished yet). There is also a tiny jym with jacussi (which was broken at our stay).

The staff is nice and tries hard to make the stay pleasent and they are good at it.

Generally, I believe it is a landmark in Prague and can be put at the same level as Mandarin and Four Seasons.

I would definatelly stay here again once in Prague and I recommend it hardly.
