What can I say that hasn't been said before. This hotel is absolute perfection. I have stayed in many many hotels around the world and this is without a shadow of a doubt the best I have come across. Highly recommend this hotel and I wil definitely be back but when the weather is a lot warmer!

Thank you Buddha Bar Hotel for a truly fantastic honeymoon!

We had booked the Romantic package for our honeymoon with Buddha Bar hotel. We were greeted very politely at the airport and taken to the hotel. The chauffeur though not fluent with English made an honest attempt at pointing out the highlights of Prague. He was very courteous and polite.
At the hotel, we were cordially received and shown to our room. I must say that the room was equipped with all the amenities in detail for an exquisitely luxurious experience. A chilled bottle of champagne with beautiful glasses and a bowl of strawberries waited for us in the room with a gift from the hotel with massage oils, honey dust and feathers setting the pace for the most romantic honeymoon anyone could have. There was even a hand written note from the Director of the hotel addressed personally to us making us feel warmly welcome.

Lucy at reception was extremely helpful and assisted us to organize the city tour as well as the massage and the romantic dinner at the Buddha Bar Restaurant which was in itself an exquisite fine dining experience.

Overall, we had the perfect honeymoon all thanks to Buddha Bar hotel Prague!

A truly fabulous hotel - I only booked the standard room, but it was beautiful. Spacious room with glam decor and plenty of storage space. Big bathroom with walk in shower, huge double ended bath, twin sinks and a separate loo and entrance hall.

The location of the hotel could hardly be better - 2 minutes walk to Old Town Square, yet on a quiet street.

My only gripes are small and service related. Housekeeping always forgot to replenish the coffee and the water in the room. We ordered breakfast in the room each day, and every time they forgot at least one or two items.

Arriving quite early in the morning, we were expecting to only be able to leave our luggage at the desk, and walk around for the day, but the wonderful attendants had our room prepared when we arrived. After being escorting upstairs and shown a few essentials of the room, we couldnt believe how nice it was! We got room 33 which was on the corner of the hotel, giving us some very neat windows overlooking St James Church. The free Nespresso machine was a very nice touch, as was the Buddha Bar music playing fromt he B&O sound system. Turn down service is great, as we got chocolates and snacks every evening we returned from venturing around Prague. On Christmas Day we were given a large box of chocolate, a welcome present from the Buddha Staff!

I must mention a few negatives we came across. The B&O sound system was a little tricky- much slower than I would expect from a multi-thousand dollar system. The remote was VERY slow, and the music didnt play in the shower room or toilet room, no matter how many different setting we tried. It seems to me that a 1 year old hotel/tv system shouldnt be broken already.

The second negative was the Siddhartha Cafe/Bar. After ordering a Manhattan and a Martini, we waited 25 minutes before the bartender we ordered from mentioned that his replacement was coming in 5 minutes, and we would get our drinks shortly... we ALMOST got up and left, but had 90 minutes before our show started so we waited. When the new bartender arrived, she immediatley mentioned they couldnt make a Manhattan.. OK, why couldnt Bartender A tell me that? Secondly, she had no idea how to make the martini my wife asked for, and actually filled the glass half full, before adding 4 ice cubes to top off the glass... what a poor performance for a place called Buddha BAR.

What to say? If you want to combine an excellent stay with a visit of beuatiful Prague, Buddha Bar Hotel is certainly wirth wile!
We arrived with a few hours of anticipations to the availability of the room, but, no problem, the room was ready anyway. To be able to make the most of our stay, we took a flight back late in the evening, but, no problem, we could stay in the room until we had to go to the airport late in the afternoon. Beautiful room, cleaned twice a day, a bottle of water and some chocolats "on the house" every day. Estonishing bathroom with huge bathtub and lovely shower, not to mention the "special" toilet. Extremely friendly and always smiling staff. Not at all snob as one sometimes finds in luxuary hotels. So if you like to stay at a special place but our rather casual (like us) Buddha is the place to go to! We didn't eat at the Hotels restaurant because we wanted to wander around the city also in the evening (absolutely fabulous, even with -16°C) and the many excellent restaurants and Jazz-bars to choose from.
Only lesser points:
-we had a problem with the remote control for the television in the bathroom. The problem wasn't solved even after I mentioned it 3 times. Not such a big deal if it wasn't for the 5 stars the hotel claims ans the price of a romm that goes with it.
-we should of stayed in a Premier Guest room, instead we were lodged in a (minor) Superior Guest Room. The difference are a merely 5 square meters, but the price is a lot different...

This review isn't about the hotel, just the bar. Rude and miserable staff with a 20 minute wait for a drink. I wouldn't have minded if the bar was busy but it was very quiet with the bar staff concentrating on getting the pre-ordered drinks for the diners downstairs.

I'm sure the hotel is very nice but because of the slow and moody bar staff we won't be returning in the future. Plenty more bars in Prague

The location of this hotel could not be better. The hotel is small and the rooms are sufficient. Lovely decor. Service was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, helpful and room service (twice a day) fabulous. And did I forget a NESPRESSO bar in your room????
I was surprised to see the bar empty night after night. Perhaps it was low season... but I would think locals would hang out there on a Friday or Saturday night. When I was there (with my family) we had drinks in the lounge. The drinks were incredible. I would highly, highly recommend this place.
