My wife and I stayed there recently and enjoyed it very much. It's very close to the main sights by tram. Vyšehrad is 5-10 mins walk away and worth exploring. Only quibble was that wifi expensive.

Out of town hotel, with an excellent transport system close by. Rooms are very tasteful, clean and sumptuous beds. First impressions were excellent, breakfast provided a wide variety of choice, well presented and plentiful. Let down only by the waiting staff, who were extremely slow in providing pots of tea or coffee, and who also took exception if you helped yourself. The downside of this hotel is staff, at no time during our stay did the housekeepers replenish tea and coffee facilities. Although the reception/bar staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The hotel taxi driver Thomas is to be highly recommended. He gave running commentaries on the beautiful buildings throughout our journey. He recommended a fantastic restaurant that had ambience, excellent food and very reasonable prices. He also arranged a romantic evening boat cruise, that was also reasonably priced with unbelievable cuisine. Thomas I salute you and thank you for making our stay in Prague most pleasurable. You are a star !!

Park Inn Hotel Prague is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed.

We've spent 5 nights in Prague escorting a large group of students from Greece.

The room was very clean, very stylish and quite comfortable. The double bed was large and comfy. The room has an interactive flat-panel TV, a small fridge which, I suppose, serves as a minibar -but ours was empty- and a safe with an electronic key lock. Usually rooms are equipped with a hair dryer as well, but ours didn't have one because the hotel didn't know beforehand which rooms would be occupied by students and which by teachers.

The hotel isn't in the city center but very close to it. In fact, with a 2' walk you can reach the tram station by the river, and within 5' to 10' you can be downtown by tram. Next to the hotel there is a train station. Although the room had double windows, the vibrations from the passing trains can be a bit annoying, especially early in the morning. Personally we didn't mind at all, because we were too exhausted from the sightseeing around the city.

The hotel made special arrangements to accommodate our dinning needs. Our group consisted of 140 students and 10 teachers, hence the hotel managers gave us their conference rooms to have our breakfast and dinner. The buffet breakfast was lavish and the kids loved it! Every night the hotel caterers prepared a different dinner complete with first course, main course and desert!

Everybody spoke fluent English and were very helpful and kind.

I must personally thank Mr. Aleš Pikal, the hotel's food & beverage manager, for his kindness and his flexibility in accommodating every request of ours regarding the breakfast and the dinner.

I must also thank Ms. Eva Pospíchalová for her help with the Prague authorities regarding a theft (someone stole a student's wallet in the tram).

We stayed in room 414.

Can't rate this hotel high enough. To start, we were very early for check in but the reception still managed to get us a room within 15mins. Rooms are fine with very nice hot, powerful shower. Breakfast is excellent - you name it they've got it! Back to reception again - very helpful & if they don't know the answer to a question they will find it. To top it off, it was my wifes birthday while we were there and when we got back to our room a cake & bottle of champagne were waiting for us. OK, it's not in the middle of town, but a 10min walk will get you to the nearest metro stop and the tram runs from round the corner. We like to walk & 25/30 mins gets you to the old town. Overall if you're going to Prague you can't beat this Hotel for value.

Location is very good - it is a little way from the centre but a short tram ride to all the main points of interest, or walkable at a pinch (20-30 minutes). Nearest metro also about a 7 minute walk.
Room wasn't large but sufficient and very tastefully decorated, as was all the hotel.
Breakfast was very good

Criticisms:
1 Lack of free wi-fi (available, together with coffee in room, if you upgrade to a business-friendly room)
2 Maybe because we were there for the first weekend of spring, but the hotel was suffocatingly overheated. The a/c in the room wasn't effective, so we opened the windows and were exposed to the noise of the rail tracks across the road (luckily the trains don't run through the night)

Dear Sir,

I would like to thank you for your stay at our property and for your comments posted.
I will forward your comments to our Chef Technician.

Because the winter unfortunately have not finished yet (and the weather is changing very often last few weeks) the air condition system was still set up as a heating, so if you put it on the highest level it was probably heating up the room.

The temperature is finally rising and the spring seems to be coming to our country, so the system will be set up soon into air conditioning.

Thank you once again for your stay with us and we will be very happy to welcome you back.

With kind regards,

Marketa Vesela and Park Inn Team
