Description: Bohemia Bagel Cafe is a nice friendly restaurant based in just steps from the Charles Bridge offering fresh-baked bagel sandwiches, traditional Czech dishes and American -style desserts. Bohemia Bagel has become a institution in Prague over the last ten years for informal American style dining. It is a favourite destination for foreigners visiting Prague. The menu was developed by Chef Scott Kelly, a native of Los Angeles who honed his culinary skills in New York, Beirut and Moscow before settling in Prague. This relaxed cafe serves delicious home-style cooking and an impressive line-up of American style desserts.

We had a breakfast in this place and it was delicious! The servings are huge and coffee was also good. The only problem was that service was slow (there were a couple who left before they got their food, because it took a waitress almost half an hour to serve drinks to them). We also had to wait longer than usual, but it was worth it, cause we really liked the food. At the end the waitress told us that something was wrong with the cash register and we didn't get the cheque, just paid cash and left. The prices were average, about 500 CZK for two people.

Went with some American friends who'd been before. Tasty burgers, great fries. American style breakfasts looked promising, but we ate lunch there instead. Our friends said they used to have free refills on soda, but that wasn't offered this time.

We went this morning after some research to have a nice breakfast and I was very disapoint with the service. We arrive at 12.05pm, they had an offer for egg sandwich + coffee + juice, my boyfriend ask to the waiter if the offer is still available and the waiter said yes, no problem, and after we ordered, 3 minutes later, another waitress came to tell us that the offer is not in the system anymore, bla bla bla.. so we have to order everything separate, which is more than 200 cz difference each. I orederd a latte and the waitress came with a capuccino, she said that they are no making lattes.. no words, f course.. The food was average, we ordered two bagels and two stack of pancakes with blueberry, nothing awesome. When the waitress brought the bill was 600 cz, a little bit high comparing that we are spending these days in restaurants for a full traditional meal no more than 500 cz, but whatever.. My boyfriend put the credit card in the bill folder, the waitress took it with her and after two minutes she came again saying that they are not accepting credit card payments, only cash.. again, I had no words. This people are doing wathever they want with the costumers, invented rules thinking that because we are tourist and the equivalent of idiots. No, we are not.

Good place for a quick bite before a day of sight seeing. Loved the fried egg, spinach, & Swiss on Sesame bagel. Also bottomless cup of coffee if you eat in.

The good is great. Really good price for what you get. The service is lovely and friendly. The only issue, and it hits you in the face once you sit down; you might as well be in America. Almost all the guess are American. The music is American, and of course: the menu is American. For someone who comes to Prague to sample the local culture and food, maybe look elsewhere. If your just looking for a nice lunch. Go for it.
