“great stuff, UK take note”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

this was a great example of a hotel. The location was great for sightseeing with a tramstop outside but only a ten minute walk on the flat.
The staff were happy, the bar was reasonably priced, the food was of good standard and the rooms were spot on. Bathroom especially nice. Tea making was there but bizarrely no milk.
UK take note.....FREE WIFI throughout the hotel. Usually its only in public areas but this hotel had it everywhere. This is a real plus point. Also handy is a really cheap supermarket across the road and a Costa next door which is good if you need anything. When i'm here again i will definitely stay here.

Room Tip: ask for one on the front

we stayed here as an overflow hotel for conference at Hilton. Nothing special, but all we needed was a place to crash after working 16+hours. Clean, but a bit Spartan. Beds a little small and not the most comfy. Pleasant and helpful check-in staff, and a decent little bar area.
Across the street from metro, trams, and a small shopping concourse for pharmacy and grocery needs. Plenty of reasonable restaurants nearby. Seems to be the business district, so not much action in the evening, and none of the beautiful architecture of Old Town.

Thank you for your review back in 2013. Please note that we have done many investments and improvements to our hotel ever since, with new renovated lobby, restaurant and brand new made in Germany quality beds, upgraded amenities as well introduced brand new Bistro Style concept restaurant. We hope you would give us another chance if you come back to Prague!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Jurys Inn Prague and I have to say we found this hotel everything we could have wished for. On arrival we were greeted by happy friendly reception staff. Our rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, comfy beds and a good size bath room, with nice powerful hot shower and bath tub. We were on the 6th floor and the room was quiet and peaceful for a good nights sleep. Tea/coffee facilities good and mini bar and fridge.
Location is perfect, metro station just over the road and tram stop just outside the door. You pay approx. 3 UK pounds for a 24 hour pass to use on both metro and/or trams (buy tickets at the newspaper shop next door to the metro station)
The old town is only a short walk along the road, 5 or ten minutes at the most, we walked to most of the sights.
Breakfast is served till 10am and there is a large choice to suit all tastes, including full English cooked breakfast, cold buffet meats/cheeses and salad. and the most delicious fresh breads , cakes and pastries! We ate in the restaurant most evenings as there was a good choice at very reasonable prices.
The staff at this hotel made our stay even more pleasant with their friendliness and smiles. A special thank you to Jan, restaurant supervisor, and to Katerina . All the staff here are helpful and professional, so well done Jurys and we hope to return in the near future.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room and were given 624 and 625 so no busy road outside our windows.

we traveled in prague on 24/10/2013-29/10/2013.
we got a room on the 9th floor. the room was very comfortble, the bed was a bit to soft but the rest was wonderful.
breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from.
and the most important thing- the staff was sooooo helpful- this is the thing that made the biggest impresion on me.
the location was ok. the metro/tram station is right across the street- so its very comfortble, but if you want to walk to the center of the city, its a bit difficult (about 40 min of walk).
overall- great value for money!

I have just returned from a two night stay in Prague, this hotel was in a convenient location, with good transport links. Metro, tram and bus stations are all located outside the hotel. It is not positioned in the centre of Prague, but close enough were you can walk into the old town. It is around a 15 min walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.

What a great hotel for our weekend. The check-in was smooth and efficient and the staff helpful and friendly. We were a group of 12 and none of us had any complaints whatsoever.
Breakfast was fine, something for everyone, and the bar prices were reasonable. With the tram-stop and metro across the road it is a perfect base for a city break. It was only a 10 to 15 min stroll to the old town square. We are returning in June 2014 and will book this hotel again.

This is a mid range hotel in a good location , so you do not expect chandeliers , but nor did I expect a rash of bites up and down my body that emerged a day later ( so I think it must have been there ..to be fair I was at the Hilton Heathrow the next night , but their beds were in another class ... ) None of my 6 colleagues had the same problem , but nor did they suffer in the Hilton

The rooms were clean , the décor limited , the bathrooms had a strange step down that were dangerous for late night visitations, the beds small , the restaurant fairly bleak , the breakfast relatively limited with incredibly good scrambled egg . The reception staff were very sweet and helpful .

I will not be going back

Room Tip: All seemed fairly uniform ( hearing from my other colleagues )

We are sorry to hear you did not have a good stay with us back in 2013. As a new general manager who took the hotel over back in 2015 I am proud to stay we worked on many improvements in our hotel in both service and product areas which all have been very well received by our guests in recent Year and improving ranking proved we have been on a good way as we most importantly cocentrate on our guests. Since the end of 2015 we have brand new beds as well. I hope if your journeys bring you back to Prague you would give us another chance.
