Perhaps we were unlucky, but the stay was rather average. The location is fine, some 15 minutes walk to the metro, the rooms are not big, but provide sufficient space, and they look quite cosy. Also they have a swimming pool that you can use for free, and that's quite pleasant. Breakfast is also tasty. But the heating broke down on the first night of our stay, and they fixed it only two days later. We expressed our dissatisfaction and got a radiator, but people we met at breakfast complained that they were cold. On the first day we wanted one towel replaced and put it on the floor as requested by the traditional sign, but in the evening we found it neetly hanging on the battery. We had it replaced at the reception. I had some stomach problems and wanted some chicken broth. It turned out difficult to explain that, but we even drew pictures and thought we managed to get understood. But finally I got only boilt chicken breast without any broth (which shoud have been water and sault only), upon request they brought the broth as well, but it tasted like vinegar, and the breast itself was quite stale, so we preferred dining somewhere in the center after that. However they admitted the problem and we did not have to pay for the chicken. Also the walls are rather thin, but if you walk all day round, nothing can disturb your sleep. I was too satisfied with Prague to feel upset by all those things, but I thing mom would have been more pleased, had not it been for these issues. Swimming pool was the only thing that reconsiled her with the hotel.
