This is a first-class hotel in a good location in Prague at excellent value. We must still be lucky enough to benefit from the good value offered by relatively cheap prices available in Prague. The breakfast buffet was immense - every possible taste catered for. Especially good was the selection of fresh fruit. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and almost luxurious. All-in-all an excellent choice.

We stayed here for four nights in June 2012. Excellent hotel in convenient location away from the touristy area around Wenceslas Square. Although it does not have wonderful views of the river or castle is within easy walking distance of all major attractions and this should not put you off. The hotel and staff are first class, the room was large and well equipped, the staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Probably the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel. Hightly recommended,

We upgraded to an executive room at this hotel, which I would highly recommend. You then have free use of the small but excellent spa, which has a 4 metre x 2 metre pool with a reverse pump, so you can swim against it even in such as small area. The pool also has one end as a jacuzzi, which is very powerful and gives a fantastic massage to aching bodies. Steam room and sauna in excellent working order. Upgrading also gives you free use of the executive lounge with food and drink refreshments upto 8pm.
All this and I haven't mentioned the fantistic room, it was huge and a bathroom with jacuzzi and shower to match. The bed was very comfortable with featherlite quilts and perfect pillows. The only comment I would add, although to us this was not a criticism, just a comment. "On the website is states all executive rooms have a view of the square". This is a slight exageration, ours was at the side of the hotel and only if you twisted your neck out of the window, did you see the square. This hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from Old Town Square which is great for seeing all the tourist areas. All the staff were very attentive and informative. We only ate breakfast in the hotel as we wanted to try different restaurants, however you could not fault the breakfast in anyway, they served every type of breakfast food from champagne and salmon to continental to full english and so many fruits I couldn't name them all.
We had free wifi in the rooms and the lounges which is quite unusual in Prague.
To sum this hotel up, I cannot find fault with it. I hope we will return here in the future.

Room Tip: The upgrade to executive room is worth every penny. The above description is of Room 205

Dear valued guest,

Thank you very much for sharing your opinion of Hotel Kings Court with fellow travelers. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and the executive benefits that came along with your room.

With regards to your comment about the view of the room, I would like to clarify that actually you received an upgrade to one of our Junior Suites (room 205) which is a category higher than a regular Executive Room. Our Junior Suites only partly have a view of the square but they are much more comfortable in size and layout. I apologize that this has not been made clear to you by our Reception Staff when you checked in.

Nevertheless we are happy that you enjoyed the equipment of your room, our breakfast buffet, and our spa.

We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon!

Best wishes,

Jessica Olschowka

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in early September 2012. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Everyone at the front desk spoke English and most of the dining staff did as well. The room was just fine, fairly spacious, with nice linens. The breakfast was quite varied and of good quality. We also had lunch at the hotel one day and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a pleasant surprise all the way around. We used the spa too. The services were nice and the prices much better than is more Western European countries.

Room Tip: Try not to be on e first floor.

We spent 4 nights here at the end of August and the place was fantastic.

Arriving late after a long delay we were in our room in no time and the reception staff gave us a couple of great recommendations of where to go for late night eats - we were enjoying, beer, goulash and dumplings in no time!

As a city Prague is stunning and amongst the many great things about this hotel is the location. People talk of the city's great public transport but we never needed to use it because everything was within walking distance.

Having said that, long days trekking around the various sights requires lots or energy. Step in then, the Kings Court breakfast buffet. It's wonderful. Everything you could ever want, have ever had and could ever dream of having for breakfast all cooked to perfection and as much of it as you can fit in. Joy. Unbridled joy.

What else do you need after a hard day out checking out picture galleries and sampling beer? A spa, that's what. And Kings Court have a great one - complete with gym should you be so inclined.

It's definitely not the cheapest hotel in the city but it's so comfortable, close to the action and the service so good, I think you'd be hard pressed to find better.

Really good work guys and we look forward to our next trip to your amazing city. :)
